I just want to know how the frick one has that much dust
I've been too lazy to put my case side panel on for the past 5 months and there's hardly a spec of dust in my case. That's with my dumbass cat sleeping on top of it 90% of the time

Asus new Crosshair 7 hero looks pretty sick for the new Ryzen lineup.
All black with a stealth mode.
Leaked benchmarks show the 2700x beating the 8700k in 7/10 games. The price/performance for Ryzen is just insane.

It's only $20 cheaper than the 8700k

Was more talking about the Ryzen lineup in general, but okay..
Should also add he's talking about a CPU with 2 less cores and 4 less threads being $20 more.
But this is good for the consumer.
Hopefully Intel releases an 8 core consumer chip soon not in their x299 lineup.

And that article didn't post a thing about anything besides the 2700x in games, but okay...

Since cores are the only thing that matter

For the leaked performance benchmarks (if accurate...) and the price?
It sure as hell matters.
Edit: way to literally pick everything I said out of context.

Did you notice the 8700 wasn't even benched in some games?
Posted on 4/14/18 at 3:56 pm to boXerrumble
There were no game benches in that article from ryzen 2 chips outside the 2700x, yet they could get benches for wprime for other chips

You have to go the the Spanish site in the article.

Id expect the 2700x and 2600x to perform very similarly in games.
It's a big win for the consumer if these chips are able to compete with their Intel counterparts at their price point much better than the first generation Ryzen chips.
Like I said, hopefully this will push Intel to bring an 8 core chip to their mainstream platform.
And I'm sure the multicore performance of these chips will be pretty good as well.

Awaiting UH's technical breakdown on Ryzen 2.

They've been in the ps5 dev kits for three years now

Oh right stick to PCs.
Thanks for the reminder.

Yeah it's nasty what you can get for performance/price these days.
8/16 CPU with 4.4GHz for less than $300 is absolutely nutty.
Looks like another very successful Ryzen launch for AMD. Lot of good pub once again, rightfully so.

Yep. Now if AMD can give nVidia a kick in the arse on the GPU side.
That would be great.
