Being a hermit is fine, but it really can give me legit anxiety about going anywhere or socializing, which sucks.

Speaking of going somewhere, I'm traveling again for work in a couple weeks and need another game for my Switch. Put enough time into Zelda (200 hrs at least). Any suggestions? I've enjoyed Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart, Zelda, and just got into Splatoon 2. Thinking about Mario Rabbids Kingdom.

I hope more of the Wii U greats come to the Switch. I have a 10-year backlog of Nintendo games, and I forgot how fun they can be.

Is this a good deal for $150?

Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz Quad-Core
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H ATX LGA1150
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600

It comes with some sort of aftermarket cooler too. I think it's a Hyper Evo 212 but I'm not sure.

Not terrible. The 4670 is worth like $65, the board is ~$70 and the ram ~$60.

If it was a K series chip it would be really nice with that board

so I just accidentally kicked the headset jack while it was in the computer. fricked up the connector on my brand-arse-new headset.

Good news: I guess I popped the connector back into place and tested it out on my phone.

Bad news: I fricked up the port on the computer so now it isn't even recognizing my surround sound when I plug it in.

Anyone had to replace one of these ports before? Looks like I need to brush up on my soldering....

Imagine it wouldn't be hard. I do find however it gets more difficult to remove old solder. Esp those from machines and not human hands. IDT you will need a desoldering iron but just make sure it isn't a 30W soldering iron.

Best wireless gaming mouse?

Is Logitech the only one out there? I have the G403 but it is my work mouse. Currently using 3 different Mionix. The NAOS 7000 is my favorite but really tired of wires.

Yeah, it seems like people really love the wireless Logitech mouse. People are even using it for competitive fps play now.

I've had a G602 for a few years now and I love it. Hardly ever runs out of battery

I have the wired version and it's great. It gets thrown several times a week and just keep working.

I like the mouse but don't love it. Something feels off for me. Not as comfortable.

What is the difference between the G403, G603 and G703?

I like the 603 more than the 403 because it has a more tactile feel with the buttons. They're essentially the same mouse.

The 403 has a built in battery while the 603 uses AA batteries

There’s one of those near me for sale for about the same price.

Dude says all he did was hook it up to text a rig and that’s it who goes and buys a 1060 just to test a rig?

Just looked again and it’s a 1070 for $270

Maybe what they had in stock at the time?

Before this 2nd wave of BTC mining, cards like the 1060 and 1070s used to be back up cards for most. A GPU you kept on the shelf as a spare.

So I’m way the hell behind with a 660.

Found a 960 for $120. You think that’s worth it for the time being while hoping for prices to drop? I’m on a pretty tight budget.

Or are the 1060/70’s for $300-400 just that much better to justify it?
