There's also an MSI GTX 770 ITX local for $50. Tempted to buy that too since one just sold for $120 on Ebay.

I'll give you $75 to pick it up and ship it to me

I've been looking for another ITX card to build an HTPC for my bedroom

You think? Serious question.

Just thinking about games I ran on my 670s, 680s and 690 back then. Now we have more mature engines and less driver support for Kepler.

That is the terrible part about gaming and GPUs. Driver support falls out even if the game engine is still support, the driver needs some Windows love too.

For games like rocket league, civ, and FIFA it'll be more than powerful enough. It's going to be an i5 3470, 16gb ram, *insert GPU here*, 256gb Intel SSD and the smallest ITX case I can fit it all in.

I've considered getting a steam link since they're so cheap, but I already have half the parts to the PC

I can give you 1 or 2. I stopped using them. They are absolutely awesome. But I put a little more time messing around with streaming in home since we can't build multiple systems every few months now with flash and gpu prices.

I ran Cat6+ (2runs per unit) to my bedroom and living room. You can buy RJ45 to USB, HDMI, etc adapter for all controllers. The main PC has daul RJ45 ports so just have it hooked up to both at all times. I have one hub which connects all controls to one USB hub and the 4th ethernet cable goes straight from the 2nd RJ45 port to Ethernet/HDMI adapter.

Just set up your PCs correctly and RDM. I always use one of my laptops to start everything up including waking up via LAN. RDM also works great on the phone.

I put the 960 into an old system that had a 260 and am assuming it's gonna be bottlenecked by the Core 2 8400 and DDR2 800 memory.

I don't think PCIe x4/x8/x16 moved off the chipset around same time the memory controller moved to on chip. Could be wrong but believe so, that would be with the first Core series chips in 08-09.

Soo, yeah.. huge bottleneck.

Last month was awesome. It is just brake time. Things will pick back up. Everything is always in huge volatility after huge rises. It will level and find a bottom.

You got a new job?

Edt: I'm working from home 1-2days a week. Travel to different sites as a doing program controls lead. Not making as much but the free time I have but not needing to be based outta an office is awesome. Im really looking into doing my own project and program management consulting for private entities.

Yeah working from home has many upsides, except I basically have become a hermit and prefer not to leave the house.

Worked out a deal to stay through the transition 9/30/18, 30% bonus for staying, last two months working from home (can start a new job then if I want), and three months severance. I already have one potential offer when I am done.

I'm struggling with this lately. Not certain if other ppl suck or I just suck by not embracing what society has become.

Edt: Then again I believe it is where I live. Baton Rouge and New Orleans aren't great cities. After spending some time in Pittsburgh this December really made me hate this area.
