Yeah don't skimp on the monitor, they're so worth it these days.

Adaptive sync of choice plus high refresh rate monitors are heaven.

I'm thinking that 1 1080ti is the sweet spot.

Good luck with 2 1080's. Most games seem to turn their noses up at SLI.

Yeah, but the benching will be fun as hell, and the games allow it are WTF amazing.

I run 2 1080's (non-ti) now.

It's just that... benchmarks...

My shite struggles with benchmarks, it's business as usual with normal 1440P gameplay...

Your cpu is also much better than mine as well. It means nothing in most real world scenarios outside of ubisoft games and some RTS games.

I feel ya, homes.

It's fun when you strive for that.

I only go for real world scenarios now.

It would be nice to clobber a 3dmark benchie, but I no longer give any fricks. It's just too expensive to keep up.

A 7700k @5ghz has very little performance outside of benchies in real performance than my 4770k @ 4.2.

Actual games that is.

Not a bad price actually if AIB or water block included.

Really good price if blocks included.

I feel ya bro. I'm asking 200 for a fury from a friend who helps me build my pcs.

Nobody likes getting fricked on selling used parts.

Still wouldn't give more than 400 for a 1080 w/o a warranty or water block included. That's just me.

It's used...

Collecting dust isn't so much a bad thing. My current card could go belly up at any time.

Any thoughts on this monitor?

LINK

1440p, Freesync Range of 30 Hz - 144 Hz.

$399.99 on Newegg Flash Deal.

Anyone have experience with Nixeus monitors? I'm intrigued because it is a small USA-based company. Read some good things about the equivalent 1080p 144 Hz with Freesync monitor they released a few years ago.

IPS, 144Hz, Freesync with a great range, seems solid.
