If that's what everyone's playing in October/November I'll get it. I'll probably still get the new COD because I just can't help myself. My backlog (my genuine, I-really-do-intend-to-play-these-games backlog) is going to be pretty horrendous by the time I get back in my house.

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the Acer Predator 21x laptop.
Kaby Lake CPU
Dual 1080's
up to 64GB of RAM
Room for up to 5 HDD's

Full mechanical keyboard (has already been done on the MSI Titan)

They should've gone higher res on the screen.
I kind of like it, the new philosophy of "portable desktops" now that you can actually get full GTX 980/1080 power in that kind of form factor for a somewhat affordable price (not this one, but the single-GPU models with full 1080s). This is just an example of what you can do when you engineer a PC outside the constraints of traditional laptop form factors. The higher-end gaming laptops are already big and clunky, not something you're going to use to take notes in class or use on an airplane. Might as well make it bigger and not cut corners, for hardcore gamers who travel a lot for work.
What I would really like to see is a standardized "portable desktop" form factor with reasonably priced after-market components (e.g., build your own in an ITX clamshell of sorts), so that you don't spend 5 grand on a PC like this and just watch it age.

This is also an issue with ultra wides. 1440 was 2012. We have moved on to 2160. Give us that pixel density.

WTF is up with all these low res images in Windows? Windows and the Chrome browser look like shtt in 4K. A lot of Up-Resing needs to be done.
Also... so sad today seeing Tek Syndicate destroyed. Hopefully Cain and Wendell start their own thing.

ferk. Replaced my motherboard and the damn wired LAN connection doesn't work. Wifi for the foreseeable future, but at least I got 5GHz so it's manageable.
Still, pisses me off. Don't feel like taking it all apart, packing it back up & shipping it off just because of one port.

uninstalled and reinstalled drivers for the controller?

That's what I did, then saw your post suggesting the same. Still, you get half credit.

Also the SO is starting to come to terms with her S7. I just haven't had time for a video chat to show her how to apply a skin, so it isn't so "Samsung". Camera is awesome and she loves the Samsung audio tune test. Says it made music sound much better through earbuds.
