Both of yall have worked from home before, and it's all I've done for the past several years. Do yall prefer the travel/office space life over the hermit life?

I could still work from home but I chose to rent an office if that tells you how much I grew tired of it.

It seems hard to work out of a home office. I would have a hard time not fckking off.

I work at home and at an office provided by a client. Doesn't matter to me. I generate revenue at either.

Just seems hard for me to get motivated. Older I become the easier it seems but still doesn't sound productive for me.

I can just tell you if I had my own business with my private break area including TVs, XBox, and a sofa? I wouldn't get any shite done

Motivation isn't a problem for me. I manage proposals under tight deadlines, so if I'm not motivated, we miss a deadline and potential revenue. That would probably be grounds for insta-firing, which is enough motivation for me. I'm way more productive at home, mostly because my computer is faster and allows for a lot more multitasking.

The problem for me is the lack of social interaction and the fact that I can get away with neglecting appearance. I'm pretty sure if I didn't have a family who comes home at the end of each day, I'd slip into a deep dark depression. Although I could go into the office anytime, I'm at the point where I don't really want to go anywhere/put on pants.

Fckk this sounds awesome.

But I know we can't function with 0 interaction. I spent nearly a year not speaking to anyone, not even family during my early 20s. I was so depressed I didn't even know it.

The crazy thing is I go through 2-3yr cycles where I will fall into a deep depression but learned to embrace it. Everytime I've fell into that pit I came out a lot stronger and learned something new about myself.

I love depression in a way. It made me into the terrible person I am, but it's who I am.

They are nice looking and get great reviews. Was also impressed by CrossOvers back in 2012. They are my favorite of the Korean 1440 brands/sellers/ whatever.

Owning the business makes it easy to get motivated. I don't produce I don't get paid. Simple as that. I always get paid.

Yeah I'm gathering everything to finally get my PMP. After that I'll feel safer going out consulting under myself. Believe I can stay busy now but a PMP would give a little more confidence that the higher end jobs will keep rolling.

I'm ready to earn the mark up on my billable rate.

Waiting on a sale for this one, doesn't look like the type of game I would get much out of in it's current state.

I just need something to do here away from home.

Went buy a 65" 2160 Vizio at Target for 899. No tax because it was offset by a 10% coupon. So might play this game on the couch with a controller.
