This monitor is just gorgeous.
I do miss 144Hz though, so much so that I may look to upgrade next year if 4K monitors start going up to the 120Hz maximum that DP1.3 can offer.
DP1.4 is still years away, but that will introduce 10 bit 4K panel monitors with HDR and 120Hz. Now that will be one hell of a time for PC.

Anybody have any ideas why a monitor plugged into display port would go directly into bios then show a black screen? But plugged into hdmi it works fine

Have to wonder how that "bottleneck" came to be on Titan P. Guessing CPU bound games @ 1080P on Broadwell cores @ 3ghz on games that didn't use that many threads.
Commenting on the Titan P posts. Not the poster I quoted.

Looks like RX 480 AIB's hitting this week.
Sapphire Nitro+ on the 13th. XFX, MSI Gaming X, Asus Strix, and the new Dataland cards also on the way.
Asus Strix and the Dataland Red Devil are the only two with triple fan cooling.

Good stuff. If the Nvidia can keep stock of the 1060, should be fun. Damn shame that Vega isn't here yet.

They need to get more 1080's on the market first!

Sapphire or MSI for me.
Have they said how much they're going to be?

I'd expect around 220 for the 4 GB version and 260-270 for 8 GB.
I'd expect the 4 GB version to be 200 or less before the end of the year.

Doom got the Vulkan patch today, as expected, the 480 sees its performance skyrocket.

The backplate on that Saphire is sexy.

I will pretty much only buy EVGA cards at this point. Been using them for years without issue.

Most companies will not ship computer parts overseas, especially into a war zone where if the parts ended up in the wrong hands could be used to build IED's.

I need a new computer monitor. I'm tired of using an old tv, it's shittttt. Amy solid recommendations? Trying to keep the budget fairly pedestrian at $250, though I can be swayed if it's worth it.

Gotcha. Sucks to pay a grand worth of markup. I'd say get someone to build it for you (and I'd even be tempted to offer doing a better build at cost + shipping), but the potential headache/nightmare involved in shipping something that expensive over such a long distance is better left to a company with resources. Farthest I've shipped is to Canada, and that made me nervous.
