Also how long after the GP 100's are release will they actually be available ala the 1080?
Experience from past full releases and nVidia releases in general, 2w-1m after soft launch. If they announce at Gamescon on Aug 17-20, then cards should start shipping out around Sep 1 at the earliest.
The rumors coming from too many sites for this not to be where they launch full pascal. I think Big Pascal will come much later or at less in 2017 probably around Feb or May-June.

This is where I will probably make the switch to 4K

I'd put the Over/Under at $1400.
Think they stick to $999, if not maybe $1099 like the GTX 690 at launch.
I don't mind paying $1000-$1100($2200) total for Full Pascals now. I'm ready to upgrade to 4K and those cards should carry me for a good 2yrs. The issue I had with TITAN X was I really didn't need them at the time for 1440. Now with the display upgrade, will need something more than the 2x980 Tis for now.
Edt: but 1 card is good enough for most. We do need more than 6GB VRAM on cards anyway. I know with GK100 i thought it was dumb, and it was at the time but now im steady touching the 6GB limit @ 1440. Just imagine if I was running 2160! DOOM yesterday was steady between 4.8-5.1 GB yesterday and its noy open world.

Look at CrossOvers on ebay. They have nice 27" and 32" versions for cheap.

Ah, I just looked it up and saw that the Titan X was rumored to be $1350 but ultimately released at the same price point as the rest. The release prices are higher than last year and further muddled by the founder's edition bullshite, so I'm still expecting the Titan variants to be pretty high, especially if the 1080 Ti will have GDDR5X. Nvidia seems to be trying to elevate the Titans into an entirely new class, and HBM2 can't be cheap.

I can't believe the people that are still paying $800 or more for the FE cards.

What did Little Kepler and Little Maxwell launch at?
$579 for GK104 and $649 for GM204?

This rumor was further perpetuated by the statement of a foreign retailer claiming that ASUS is stopping production of its GTX 1080 STRIX for now.

I started browsing through the article and was loke, wow this is long for a WCCTech article. TheN realized it was like several WCCT articles combined with a new one.
That is a nice card especially if you are not putting a block on it.

It would be even nicer if I could find one.

Got my old PC back and it was really time for an upgrade (DDR2, Core2Duo, P5K Deluxe and a 560ti). Also picked up a Evga G2 750 watt, that should be enough for just about anything right?

Playing some of the Forza Apex Win10 beta and that was one of the cars and the Tron scheme was a downloadable one from the community, looked pretty cool I thought.

Do I need a small server and network for 4 to 5 computers in my new office?
I will also have a few people working off site if that changes anything.
We transmit a lot of data as far as sending photos to clients but I want to make sure that everyone has access to all the photos at all times because we sometimes need to review them to confirm things for bids or to fight invoice denials the banks issue from time to time.

I am not an expert in the area, believe it or not I am the accountant that also wears the HR and IT hat. If all you are doing is file sharing I would think a networked PC with the right storage would be fine, but someone with more knowledge will give you the right answer.
