I'm $30 with my only family and I don't turn down any money from my parents

She's a content creater. That doesn't make it quality, but she is. It's similar to an old man podcast...

The only money I've ever given to online people are Dan Carlin and Mike Duncan for history podcasts

It's not my thing either but there are worse things to spend your money on

So I'm trying to become more informed and have been watching lots of youtube videos, mainly Linus, Jay2Cents and Tek Syndacite. Are they trustworthy and what other channels should I watch? Thanks.
I loved the one where Linus builds a of with his 3 year old kid. What a great video.

Yeah, those are all good informative channels to watch. I don't watch them regularly unless something catches my attention, but what I have seen is decent. Linus just has a voice that's a bit tough to tolerate.

Linus and Jay are good at "prosumer" type material, ie, being professional, informed consumers and users of technology. Tek Syndicate will get much more technical, especially when anyone other than Logan is talking. Logan is a great front man, but the brains of that op is Wendell. They also have a very high mistrust of government, which keeps them near and dear to my heart. Some of their shirt designs are fantastic too...
ETA: you can add elithecomputerguy to your watch list, he has coverage on a very wide range of topics. hak5 is good if you are interested in networking, security, or general hackery.

Hadn't heard of him. Just checked out his channel, and he has full-blown lectures on a lot of topics, many over an hour long. Very cool.

plus he gets salty as frick, which always adds to the entertainment value.

EDIT:
Then he goes and does this.
Although, the hole ruined the card 100% anyway.

I've been pretty pissed and have broken some things, but I always assess their value first.
If I broke a 980 Ti, I'd be doing whatever I could to cover up the damage so that I could RMA it. Not an ethical solution, but I couldn't let $600+ go down the drain.

I think it's very ethical. You're just a man trying to feed his family...

Are you playing the Division? Would it be fun for lone-wolf play, or quick sign-in/sign-out sessions? I don't even want to join up with strangers in a group. It's probably not the game for me, but I haven't even played the beta or watched much gameplay.

I'm not. I want to and it's my type of game but I don't feel like playing an online game while my daughter has sleep issues and would interrupt often.
It's not a shooter. It's a loot rpg game that uses 3rd person shooting mechanics. It's easy to jump in for a couple of missions but it's at its best with others. You can matchmake for missions but going into the dark zone by yourself won't be much fun.

What kind of sleep issues? Medical-related or just typical toddler sleep regression?
Posted on 3/10/16 at 7:42 am to ILikeLSUToo
Toddler that is teething and wants to cuddle with mommy

Think I may upgrade to 4K, finally found a monitor that I absolutely love (not released yet).
LG 4K UHD 27UD88-W
4K IPS, check.
Zero edge display, check.
Great brand, check.
Sexy, check.
Freesync, check.
Built in USB-C and USB 3.0, check.
Preorder is up on Amazon for $699, but I doubt it's released until May or so like last years releases.
