Is Kaby Lake the next refresh? When is is going to launch? I am thinking of a new full tower build.

That's not until mid 2017.

Go with Skylake.

Please say wired and awesome! No other answer will be accepted.

I haven't even hooked it up yet. The only thing I tried out was the controller and hated it. I have an Xbone Elite controller and the wireless adapter I will be sticking with.

Same here. I ever tried playing some MMOs maybe with it, and my brain blew up. Stick with the reg XBONE + Wireless.

IDK wtf ppl are doing putting red on everything again. I thought we got over that in 2012. The motherboards and cases offend me as a gamer.

You finally get a Caselabs?

Aren't caselabs huge like the 900D? I don't want anything that big.

IDK, what are the specs on LSU's?

My Merlin S8 isn't that large, look into the S5?

Here are the specs on the caselabs line:
LINK

It shows the dimensions of all of them (width x depth x height).

Most of them are smaller than my 900D, which is 9.90" x 27.20" x 25.60" (w x d x h).

Coyote's Merlin SM8 is 11.18" x 22.38" x 22.44" which is pretty standard height for a full tower, but a bit wider.

A small child's playhouse?

EDT: Caselabs have to be seen in person also. The material is so nice, pictures never gave it justice until owning one. Although the 2yrs ago since purchase, pc case companies have upped their games to CaseLabs standards.

I personally always liked the look of Corsair cases in the Obsidian series like the 650D, 750D and 900D.

And weighing just under a bag of concrete mix, it's nice and portable.

I'm curious how the Thermaltake copycat cases will hold up. Where are they anyway? Announced and shown in the summer and then nothing.

Stout, I do also like almost every single thing FractalDesign has launched. Not saying you need my approval, but they make clean looking cases with excellent acoustics.

I like the 750D and the NZXT H630 but I will look more into Caselabs.

When's the next update from AMD and Nvidia? I am out of the loop and I want to do a build that will last well into 4K gaming.

Both AMD and nvidia should have huge offerings for us in a few months. I'll most def wait.

Awesome. That will give me a bit to plan it out I guess. When will there be a 4K monitor worth buying?

I'm still waiting for this.

Picked up a 55" LG 4K for around $700 during Christmas. It's not all about resolution, should have saved for OLED/4K.

Saying that, its not all about resolution but about other techs which make the picture great. Idk man, I'm with you and still waiting.

Yea I get this which is why I was asking.

Not sure what I will do with my current build since I won't need it with Steam Streaming. I have a 390X I have never even used. Wonder what I can get for this?
