I would start with overclocking the gpu first, it's simple.
I don't know about you guys but I'm starting to get the itch for a steam summer sale...

Don't see how that is a $4k PC.
8350
12gb RAM
7990 (x2)
Unless the ram and mobo is absurdly expensive or if it has a full loop then I see it being around $2800ish

Looking at the hardware they described, that's not a $4000 PC.
Unless that's a typo and they meant 7990, the 6GB Vapor-X is $500 or so.
Clearly, consoles are just better.
EDIT: Maybe, MAYBE Alienware would "retail" that machine for $4k.

Yeah, I figured they meant 7990 but Jesus that's a lot of power. The comments are awesome.

It's probably the same PC they used at GDC earlier this year that has two 7990s in it.

I think your right the custom case window must have raised the price. That or the person who wrote the article just pulled a number out his arse.

Probably a conspiracy to make normal people think they can't afford to join the master race.

We need to have a PC classified section on here, I don't want to deal with ebay/reddit trying to sell my parts

Are the power supplies that come built into ITX cases worth a shite? 300 watts will be plenty to run the APU set up I am looking at but I am just worried about the PSU being trash.

I would assume they're cheap and pretty garbage
