Competitive 2.0 is garbage… currently 6-10 on my DPS games right now but don’t have a rank because you either need to win 7 games or lose 20 before rank is adjusted.
Many people placed much lower first week but blizzard supposedly patched it out and gave those that did rank a boost.
No idea what to expect.

My games have been pretty shite. Roll or get rolled. Initial placement is low for everyone, even without the bug. I dropped 500-1000 SR basically on every role, but seems you can climb faster than OW1.

So I could look at my tanks being this in OW2 if I drop 1000 across all roles placing:
Tank: Silver 4 or Silver 3
DPS: Bronze 2 or Bronze 1
Support: Silver 4 or Silver 3
Oooof. Maybe the games will be more fun though.

IDK what happened since the transition to OW2, but so far I actually turned down the aim assist bc it seemed to be jerking the reticle around too much.

I got Silver 2 on DPS. So basically dropped 500 SR (2338 from end of Season 36 OW1 to 1800-1900 which is what Silver 2 corresponds to).

I placed all silver and got into gold on all roles after my next 7 wins.

Same here, I placed silver, but inn no played and placed release day and 75% of my games were 4v5.
Ow admitted they fricked up the placements at first and gave you a bump on your second 7 wins so I went from silver to platinum. I was diamond to 2800 in ow1.
It took a bit but I’m really enjoying the new format. If you think junker queen is op, play Orisa or Zarya. Most op characters ever, Winston is too tbh.
They have to nerf sombra, a good sombra now is so annoying

havent played since Jan 2018. was an elite Tracer/Genji back in the day
played OW2 for the past few nights. Sombra is the most OP damage player right now, Orisa and Dva are the most OP tanks. the amount of havoc I was able to cause with the above 3 characters is insane.
went 40-0 with Orisa one game, then 31-2 right after with 13k damage. went 32-0 with Dva one game as well. Orisa just doesn't die and Dva has such good abilities with insanely short cooldowns. Junker Queen is pretty strong too and it seems like most teams run her
Sombra's just a menace. can teleport anywhere and the opposing team has no clue where (unlike Tracer/Moira/Kiriko), can see low health enemies through walls, hacking is OP and recharges too fast, can stay invisible and hack while invisible, hacking health kits is monumentally helpful, she can spawn camp, etc.
I've definitely caused the most rages and freakouts with her, she's so annoying in good hands

Dude you played with me so early in my OW career that I don’t even remember who I ran at the time
I think you were always Pharah but I could be wrong I could carry comp matches with a tracer in my prime once the game clicked for me. I ran with a GM Genji and we would just roll people if we got with good teammates

I switched to the Legacy aim assist setting for Ana and things improved greatly for me.

Not a huge fan of the change in Orisa. I loved shooting that shield and could regularly stop 20k+ damage.
But I do like that javelin.

What’s everyone’s Battle Pass level? I’m currently on level 61 with the 20% boost from owning the premium pass (No tier skips at all, started on 0) and have basically only solo queued minus a couple stints with a buddy.
It’s super easy if you make sure to do the dailies and as many weeklies as possible (I never go for the 10 coins because I refuse to do an arcade challenge).

Yea, I discovered that too after my profile finally updated. Way easier to heal with that change
