so I still suck at American football games. threw 7 INTs with Nussmeier at home. I guess the game is super realistic?

Read option and RPO is gonna take a little bit of time to get used too.
Played my first game and it crashed with like a minute to go in the 4th quarter. Was just a regular exhibition game against the computer opponent.
Nice to have the LSU band playing the right songs after 1st downs, TD's and turnovers though. Little weird hearing Darude - Sandstorm in TS though. I guess Garth probably wanted too much $$$ to license Calling Baton Rouge, but they couldn't at least get Louisiana Saturday Night?

Well shite. First game got through 3.5 quarters before it crashed. Now I’ve just had 2 games in a row crash right after play selection for the opening kickoff.
I paid $30 extra for the deluxe edition just for the early access, but that seems worthless now. Most EA thing ever to charge extra for early access on a broken game

I think the most over looked thing about how good this game is so far is how quick and smooth the menus are. 14 was sluggish AF

player momentum seems to be a big factor in playing, which i'm loving. Hit a guy in stride and he just explodes. Same with cutting.

I think this has a lot to do with the system its played on. I've noticed with this PS5 that it's lightyears faster than my old ps4.
Game is very smooth gameplay wise. Feels a lot different than madden which is awesome.
Started a Road to Glory. That was my favorite mode back in the day.
Not loving that LSU's band is in purple but I'll get over it. Everything else is great so far. I'm sure nostalgia is clouding my experience but I'm in for as long as my wife doesn't come in here and kick me off.

I kickoff to Auburn. They drive all the way down and TD. I get the ball, throw a pick 6. Get the ball again, and get 4th and long. End up completing a long pass followed by a bomb to Thomas, TD.
From that limited interaction, I need practice on the controls. And I suck at defense.
I’m used to pumping up the crowd and jumping the snap on D and I don’t think I can do that on this game.

It’s going to take time to get used to everything but so far the gameplay is beautiful.
From the limited recruiting I’ve done, much different. Deal breakers is going to make it much more difficult to lure blue chippers. I like it.

Anyone figured out how to use a custom playbook in dynasty? It's not even showing it as an option.
ETA: I know I can select it before each game, but I wanted to set it as my coach's playbook. That's not an option I guess.

I played a day time game in Tiger stadium and it was awesome. They nailed the vibe for sure in this game.

It’s only worthless if you quit playing.
The game is great when it doesn’t crash. But I feel like I just wasted the extra $30 if the “early access” is just going to involve every game crashing until EA fixes whatever issue it is
ETA: 5th game in a row that’s crashed. This one after the first play from scrimmage. Different teams and stadium this time.
Is anybody else having crash issues like this?
