You can give them a shot. It didn’t seem like Heisman mode. It was like an in between. I was able to move down the field but I could not pinch it in the endzone.

I kept the sliders and bumped it down to varsity.

Down by 1 to #1 Clemson at home on RTG inside the 15. 35 seconds to go. Auto Sims. No score. Assuming we missed the kick? This game can be infuriating

getting to the point in my dynasty where i can occasionally go for 650 yards and 7 TDs passing on AA difficulty. just hung 65 on maryland in the first round of the playoffs. might start messing with the sliders now

Same. I can do numbers in about 7-8 games a year and then I’ll get humbled by throwing 2-3 picks in the others I did have to turn down interception sliders just a bit, that shite was nuts at 50

You’re falling into exactly what the poster you responded to was talking about.

12 years between editions of this game makes it awesome, simply because we got it back.

Had the game been released every year and we got this game, as it is now (like Madden or FIFA) and we’d be dragging EA for how poorly it plays.

At this point, the enjoyment is 100% contentment that we have a college football game. It’s objectively a bad game right now.

That said, I’m still playing it, because it’s CFB

I mean I'm really enjoying the actual gameplay. I'm seeing so many new animations, good players really stand out, the O line and D line interactions are outstanding..I could go on and on. If Madden plays this good on the field I will love it too.

I just finished playing a game where I was Utah against Akron, 8 min quarters and on All American.. I won 14 to 10 but it was one of the most enjoyable games I can remember and I been playing these games all the way back to mid 90's. Other than the fact that I should have won by more(couple bad turnovers that was my fault) Everything played out organic and made sense on the field.

Some of yall must really suck at the game. Defense is hard but not impossible.

Offense is easy.

Just gotta learn how to slide protect and how to set your depths and such.

No… it’s subjectively a bad game. To a few of you.

After watching some videos on how to set defensive depths, offensive line shifts, etc… the game is great.

Are there cheese plays? Yes

Are there occasions where I’m scratching my head on what my corner was doing? Yes

But I scratch my head on what a corner does atleast 1-2 times a game in real life.

I started on All American and made it all the way to the semifinals of the playoffs with App State.

I’ve since switched to heisman and am sitting at 9-0 with FSU.

I’m not a pro gamer at all and honestly haven’t been able to play since Wednesday due to family in town, but I did some research on how to alter my alignments, how to recruit, how to do the RPO, selecting the Mike, etc… and it’s been great.

I think what game modes you’re into is a big factor here

I grew up without online gaming, so I’m mostly into the dynasty mode and may maybe a bit of RTG and I love it

If I were a big online/head to head guy, I probably wouldn’t be as happy

Depends on your expectations. If you're going in expecting the draw to be the gameplay, you'll be a little disappointed. If you're drawn by the atmosphere and authenticity, you're going to love it. The design detail is top notch.

There's a lot of bugs that need to be fixed right now. EA servers are down this morning.

Well being that you are a usc fan I’d say yes. The cocks are insanely good because of harbor.

I’m handling up on small teams on AA like I should.

D gives up a little too much but my offense is rolling to 56 and 63 points.

Against better teams it’s harder and closer games.

Like I just beat the buffs in the semis 56-49.

So far with the cocks, I’ve blocked a fg, returned a punt. I haven’t blocked a punt yet or returned a punt.

CPU must be adjusting to my play calling, in the playoffs Oregon and CU both played way off my wrs and kept safeties high so I couldn’t go deep.

I absolutely can’t throw damn slants though so I’m using flys, drag routes, ins and outs. I also use the route tree and drag my corner routes way down.

So I finally found a team’s historical success history (other than on the coach contract), it’s hidden under Recruiting > My School. Just missing the overall wins/losses record.

Alright, so I’ve pretty much mastered recruiting at this point and enjoy it more than years past. My last eureka moment was understanding the transfer portal. The 4* transfers are nearly guaranteed to be 84+. Just got the #2 transfer who is a RB and he’s a 90 OVR. The lowest 4* transfer I’ve gotten was an 82 OVR at DE. Seems like there’s a bit more variability in the 3* transfers but most seem to be around 73-76 OVR.

Also, if you see a 5* gem DT in regular recruiting, he’s pretty much guaranteed to be an 80+. Those guys are beasts.

I have a couple very fast WRs and after doing some RPOs, screens, and establishing the run, they start running right by corners on go routes
