Unpopular opinion, I am truly over this game. It's fricking hard af to do anything. Passing meters are stupid and don't work correctly, defense is non existent. Everything feels clunky about it.
This game also has a lot of the same feel as Madden and definitely not close to any old NCAA
ETA: yes, this is my rant after day 3. I'll be back on tomorrow

Played my first online via the CFB playoff mode. Not as bad as I thought. Lost 14-6. Kept doing dumb stuff like throwing deep. Got used to being able to get away with that vs cpu but it’s an instant user pick in online. Couple drives I controlled the clock with a lot of flat routes and bunch concepts to get leverage and space on the outside. Ended up with the ball on the 6 yard line down 8 (shanked an extra point) and was holding til the final 6 seconds and turned the ball over on downs after trying to get cute with a corner fade on the final play. Not as cheesy as I expect but might’ve gotten lucky since I did tier 1

There are definitely flaws…but you kinda gotta remember that the official release hasn’t even happened yet
I’m sure they will get some of the issues cleaned up, but it’s going to take a little while, and not everybody is gonna be happy by the fixes they do or do not make.
I definitely wouldn’t expect to run into a bunch of low scoring games though, even after the updates come. This game was made to highlight offense and college football excitement. Lots of points. Fast pace, throwing the ball from sideline to sideline. College football isn’t smashmouth anymore, unfortunately. Teams aren’t out there pounding the ball up the middle and fighting over field position. If the game ever cycles over and comes back to smashmouth football, we may get that in some future game. But it won’t be CFB 25.

What they've done with the play books are outstanding, and the game is such more wide open in the open field, and the difference between good and bad teams is really pronounced like it should be in CFB.

Yeah this doesn’t feel like Madden at all. Don’t get where people are getting that from.

I really do hate playing defense in this game.
I’ve gotten a little better with passing after figuring out how to shift blocking scheme so I have a little more time to throw.
I just got blown out on the road by South Carolina in my dynasty coming in as #8 ranked and the crowd was chanting “over rated”. A nice touch, but a bit humbling

I finished my first Dynasty season with Coastal Carolina. I went from a 75 overall to an 80 overall.
I’m definitely feeling more comfortable playing in All American, and I think it’ll get a little easier once my team gets better.
I’m currently recruiting a few 4 stars and I’m recruiting a 5 star QB against LSU. I don’t think he’ll sign but I’m in his top 2!

I'm not understanding the playing style transfer portal on my dynasty
so my RT wants to transfer, his tendency is power
Got a backup LT that also wants to transfer, his tendency is agile
Is it the playbook that I run that controls that? My coach aggressiveness?

so this will be interesting, i am barely ahead of UT and we are both going to fill up this kids bar this week. youd think a tie would go to the school in 1st at the start of the week but guess we will have to find out
