I finally started playing Gwent and I'm still not a huge fan of it, but I've got a damn good deck. I've been wrecking everyone's arse recently.

Anyone beaten this game?

Just finished Act 2 and working on the endgame at the moment, figure I'll do a completionist run on my second go round. And go with the Yennefer honeypot first time and Triss second time around.

I've beaten it, totally worth the time investment.

I've never been a fan of card games in video games. Only played the first guy in White Orchard and no one else. And probably not going to play anyone else. Waste of time. Rather complete quests and/or contracts.

I'm at 36 hours played and my xbox says I'm at 15% complete. Going to complete any quests/contracts I run into.

Of course he did. The guy beat inquisition the first day I think

The game is listed at 25-200 hours of play time. I did not rush I just didn't go out of my way to do side stuff and it took 35 hours to beat. This play I am at about 30 hours and think I am about half way done. I think the 200 hours they threw out there is if you explore the whole sea floor and walk every inch of the land.

2nd play is fun because I am making different choices than I did the 1st time.

Where do you see the % of game completion?

***SPOILERS FROM Kaer Morhen***

The time you spend bonding with the other Witchers may have been my favorite scene/quest from any video game ever. I laughed my arse off throughout.

Then It goes to one that I never want to watch again. That part with Uma was rough.

I don't aparently the consoles show it. I don't think GOG's play time is accurate so I really have no clue how long I have played.

I can't find it on PS4. And yeah, my timer is broken. My time totally changed after the update.

One of the best games I've ever beaten. Think I got one of the better endings.

A pity I missed a few missions though. Think I missed out on hooking up with either Triss and Yen. Oh well.

Didn't think this was possible, you need to play it again.

My game glitched during the Caranthir fight. Dude just stood there while I wacked off a quarter of his HP.

The challenge of the Eredin fight is managing to stay awake long enough to whittle his health down to zero. That's the only boss fight in the game where I didn't need to restore my health.

I'm doing a completionist run-through (except for Gwent) right now.

That is what I will do. Might get to the Gwent as long as no part is sealed off by quests. Might go back and do it when done.

This game is going to take me FOREVER.

And that is a great thing!

Did that for me too, but it was like the last 5th of his health or so. He just took the punishment and it transitioned to a cutscene before I got his health all the way down. Maybe it's supposed to do that?

Maybe. Seemed odd though.

Have y'all been picking up the movie references? I've counted 3 from Tarentino:
"Zed's dead" from Pulp Fiction
Two guards in the Baron's castle having the gimp conversation from Pulp Fiction.
The best swordmaker being named Hattori (as in Hanzo, from Kill Bill).

Also, the champion of the "fight club" is Durden the Tailor.

Anyone stumble upon others?

The prostitutes in one of the brothels in Novigrad quote a Madona song.
