Play Plunder. Not a true BR, but I lot of fun. The game mode encourages more combat since the point is to gather cash.

Man, sucks you can't disable crossplay on the Xbox in this game like PS4 players can. I got absolutely merked by a couple PC players yesterday. Dude turned on me and put a few right in my skull like it was Shroud out there.

Terrible at this game, but love it. Has more of the old COD feel to it. I have been dropping to the center of the circle and camping. Can usually get to the top 25 but get smoked after that.

Here’s what I do:
Drop as far out as possible and loud up on cash to get a loadout drop, UAV, self revive. Then do scavenger contracts for gas mask. Then move with the circle trying to stay on high ground.
Heartbeat sensor on your loadout drop is a game changer.
I have 3 Ws playing like this.
