I think we are. A lot of times I show offline because there’s a couple people that are annoying st times and I don’t feel like playing with them

This is a oddly weird combination of Battlefield Hardline and Siege (especially if they bring in 5v5).

Yes and no.
On a basic level, there are individual lobbies for PC, PS4, and Xbox. And then switch, tablet, and mobile players are together in the same lobby.
However, they can all crossplay together. And there are times where 3 PC players try to fill with a random 4th and get a PS4 or Xbox player. I assume because there was no good console lobby to put them in at that moment.
If I'm not mistaken, if you're on PS4 and Xbox but play with kbm, then you will play with PC lobbies more often than other console players. And if you're on PC but use a controller, you get into more console lobbies. Because the game detects what you are using to play.
I had a 4 person party the other day where I was on PC,1 was PS4, 1 was Xbox, and 1 was switch. Talk about a mixed bag of opponents.

Im curious what exactly you guys want from IW. Don't get me wrong, I'm not thrilled with the gameplay--especially the motion blur, ttk, clunky movement, and no minimap--but I've yet to find any consensus on what the community wants from the game. A reskinned classic? Then what was wrong with MWR?

An updated modern warfare game. Not just a title but an actual modern day war game. I’m pretty much expecting the same game modes as always but something that’s not 10 years ago. The world has changed a little bit since then.

Unless I’m wrong, but previous CoDs were all running on an outdated engine. The gameplay has always been fluid but visually it looked like an upscale PS3/360 video game.

I guess I can agree. I'm somewhat optimistic this game can do that just with some tweaks.
Personally I don't care how the game looks or it feels realistic. Just have a game without broken arse mechanics and add some strategy to SnD.

I resent this take. Full disclosure I enjoyed some of the jetpacking--especially BO3--but we're back to boots now. The jetpacks wasn't why WW2 flopped.
