Not shocked at all.

Been playing No builds Fortnite since it’s drop.

Tired the event…dude I can’t stand the CoD slide anymore after playing Fortnite and it was enough to quit after one game and delete.

I’ll check out MW2 but I’m done with current warzone.

Safe to say the folks in charge of warzone are incompetent. Caldera is a disaster and this event did nothing to improve the game.

I've got ~10 posts or so in this thread over the year and was pretty rabid about Warzone all through covid BS.

Making the change to a game like Apex a couple months ago seriously opened my eyes to how bad of a state WZ has been in for the past year.

I was kinda on the fringes of going back and giving this new event a try, but it sounds like it's getting absolutely shellacked by everyone.

Im thinking the new MW2 will be next gen only and that WZ will be completely revamped. It kinda seems like that last gen is what’s holding it back. I could be completely wrong though.

I actually don’t mind Caldera. Verdansk had played out and everyone wanted something new, plus it had a ton of cheaters and was nearly unplayable at the end. People are going to gripe no matter what map is in play . The servers need to be better but that won’t get fixed until the new game

Caldera is horrible. I played Verdansk nearly daily with friends and we haven't played in months now. Verdansk had lots of different landscapes and points of interests. Caldera is just a boring mountain with laggy servers.

To me, it feels like a completely different game which I guess you could argue was the point since they swapped from MW to WW2 but they would have kept more of a base if they changed the map and kept the same feel. Just my opinion anyways.

It would be interesting to know player count pre and post Caldera.

I sure as hell hope it's next gen only. All I want is a God damn FOV slider on my series X to try and compete with PC players. Old gen consoles being integrated didn't allow them to put the FOV slider on in the first place.

How so? NB4 “it’s just a big hill “, but the end game never really happens at Peak so. my squad usually find a way to avoid it unless we land there … other than that I don’t see a problem with the map since the last update and trees / bushes are not in play as much . I like the POIs really
