so for someone who hasnt played cod online stuff in many years.
what does a crossover like this mean? is it just regular cod matches with those big assess fighting around you?

These “Limited Time Modes” that CoD has had haven’t really been that great. They’re trying to be like Fortnite in that regard, but have yet to do anything that cool. Anytime they’ve done this it’s been a cutscene, and the players play before or after it.
If it was Fortnite, you’d probably be playing while they were fighting on screen.

High latency had been an issue for me. I have turned off the HD texture stuff which helped some, but not fully. I have good internet and playing on a PS5 with the HDMI 2.1.
When the game first came out I was top 3 and most of the time at the top. Now since season 2, I have struggled to stay in the top half of the lobby. Could this be the matchmaking crap or is it something possibly with servers?
It`s to the point if i didn`t play with the same group everyday, I would quit playing.
I have COX as my provider and now I see they have some gaming internet or something, but I've never needed crap like that.
Could they be throttling me, even though I don`t come close to my package limits?

The game is in a good spot right now, graphics are much better. Not really a true meta, very balanced. Only issue for me is the lag at beginning of each game.
