Rant incoming:
I hate crossplay. PC gamers make the game unplayable. Casual Joe xbox one players who just wanna play a few games with the boys every now and then...we get murderized by these geekazoids with their damn $3k set ups and hacks. Console players literally are just cannon fodder. Theyd never let xbox players play by themselves because the PC basement dwellers would all get frustrated having to play in 50 k/d lobbies with each other. Screw Activision and screw the PC wallhack filth

I think all the rebirth map updates were improvements, but it's a sweatfest. SBMM has ruined cod. You take away SBMM and there's no meta for guns that you HAVE to use and people will have fun again messing around. But that's how they make money and why they won't roll out a ranked playlist.

Where do you guys go to get gun builds? I played for the first time in like 2 months yesterday. I used the free play of Vanguard to unlock the Welgun. I just need a build for it.

Had a friend subscribe to a vpn that turns off SBMM. We've only been playing rebirth, but it's been night and day from the TTV sweat fest we normally get at night. Lobbies went from 1.2+ k/d to 0.8-1.2 k/d.
We're actually having fun again using whatever guns we want since you don't have to be "perfect". We usually win 1 out of 5, and the lobbies are a mix of all k/d's so we still get stomped about every other game.
It's nice not getting simultaneously pushed from three teams with loadouts one minute after dropping in. Now, squads hold out their area of the map until the gas forces their hand.

Not sure, but he was choosing two locations: one with a smaller player base location like Austria then an active one like the US west coast. Something to do with his firewall, geofence, and ping. $60 which is worth every penny to actually enjoy the game.
Death comms were speaking English, so I think we're still playing on US servers, it's just outside the SBMM.
