I’m going to ask a dumb question that may have already been asked and answered, but this really is for a friend. Will GameStop release the hard copy of COD this evening or will he have to wait til tomorrow. (I bought digital)

I’m sure they’ll have a midnight launch in a few locations. The only people that are playing now are the ones that digitally preordered via Battle.net, Xbox Store or PS Store or they got a digital code for the game. Activision sent out a few early copies but those went to youtubers and streamers.

Gamestop is releasing their hard copies at 9pm Central according to my friend that buys hard copies.

Everyone with Nvidia cards are also trying right now. Give it an hour or so. The servers are getting crushed. They should have been part of the driver update from 2 days ago. Weird.
