Hmmm? That's actually a pretty good idea. It acts just like a transaction, I don't see why it wouldn't be applied to speech. May have to try that.

I've definitely fast traveled to a location I've cleared previously and been attacked by enemies outside of it, so I would assume they do respawn eventually and the "cleared" is there to let you know that you have finished it already.

I fast traveled to a camp and a dragon was waiting for me.

Someone sell me on this game. I loved Wow, but noticed this isnt multiplayer. I've never played an Elder Scrolls game.

They sold me on it. I played WoW for 2-3 years and i'm obsessed with this game after playing for only 6 hours or so.
You're doing things at your own pace and there's zero real people running around with better shite than you.
The fighting isn't turn-based like WoW. The quests are story based and not just grinding NPC's/Collecting items.
But more than anything else, the visuals and music are what take it far above and beyond anything i've ever played.

How is everyone doing enchanting?
Aren't there recipe books for enchantments and alchemy? Alchemy is killing me. I have a shite ton of regs but not enough recipes to use them all and I'm too cheap to "taste" them

Yes, but you get companions to follow you around early on. it takes a bit to get used to but it is actually pretty nice.

I got smithing to 100 yesterday. Now I am slowly working on enchanting.
I went on two simple missions yesterday and got sidetracked in two dungeons that took about 2 hours a piece to finish.
Enchanting is going to be tougher. Need more gold to buy all those soul gems.
You do get XP for disenchanting, so bring all the magic armor and weaps to be disenchanted first.
I'm at lvl 35 and it has slowed way down. I haven't paid attention, is leveling based on total XP or like oblivion every 10 levels in skills you get a level?
To speed leveling up, I just took off my heavy armor and one handed weapon and switched to light armor and two handed but I am not sure that is working. I thought I would get some quick levels but it isn't working.
By the way, this is easily the best RPG ever. I am not sure why the ratings have been so low. The combat is far superior to oblivion. I actually have fun bashing with my shield.
Music is great. The game looks fantastic and it seems most bugs have been on the PC. Other than the first quest glitch, I haven't had any problems.
Oh wait, I did finally get stuck between some rocks in a dungeon so I couldn't fast travel to get out, I had to reload the game.
I know someone early said there were fewer quests. Yes and no. There are unlimited quests in this game. I know there used to be fighters guilds in all of the cities, but most of those quests were go kill this or clean out that. Now there are an unlimited number of this type of quest, so even though there aren't guilds in every city, the total quests are unlimited.

All MMORPG games are a grind. They have to be. They need it to take you FOREVER to level so you keep paying them every month.

There are, but they seem to not be easy to find. I've only found one so far. Best thing to me is just to experiment and taste. you get skillups that way and there is plenty of that stuff in the world to find.

Here is how it works:
If you level Heavy Armor from 68 to 69 it will contribute more to your overall level than leveling Light Armor from 21 to 22. So you are best off leveling skills you use. Even though the threshold to increase a skill from 68 to 69 is greater than 21 to 22 upgrading the HA will take you further towards progressing another overall level. Also skills generally improve faster if you use them in more challenging situations and combat skill progression is based off of total damage not number of strikes.
-All this is based off of the guide which I started reading last night.

Alchemy? I just eat everything at least once to discover the first effect, then randomly sample combo's of 3 items in potions until I find them all.. I'm sure later on I'll actually take some time to research them but it's fine right now.

Put a soul trap spell on a very nice bow and filled a shite ton of soul gems, and used those to enchant gold necklaces that started as iron ore. PROFIT!!!!
I need to do this, I have a soul trap axe that i've been cutscene choppin bitches with after I fireball em to take the soul as well.. but a bow would be more useful.

Can you enchant the arrows? Or just the bow?

Sure. But you can only use that arrow for as many times as you can get it back from your target.
Enchanting the bow automatically enchants every arrow shot from it.

Why would you want to enchant arrows? I have 5 different types of arrows on me but only one bow.
