I carry a bow. I also swap weapon types for skill ups. You will eventually get a shout to help with that problem.

I seemed to have lost Lydia, she is not haning at my house nor is she in the castle. She did not die she was at my wedding, she got replaced when I did the companion quest line.

Just in case anybody missed it, in the Serpents Bluff quest there is a gate in the main room where the leader is. If you unlock it there are some pretty valuable stuff in a chest. Just a little extra stuff to sell if you are interested.

So, is anyone else playing on console experiencing large game save files (5mb+) and resulting in low frame rate especially in Whiterun?

so.. does anyone else have the bard quest instruments still stuck in their inventory? there's probably a console hack to get them out but I don't know it
I also have a mage's college book stuck in there

Im 1H with a shield, but yeah I always carry a bow if I feel like picking people off from afar

I have actually never used a bow.. I'm hoping to get the "heavy" magical spells soon, so I can just blow people up from afar instead of hitting them with puny arrows!

I've seen a whole two dragons so far. Haven't seen one in a while. I guess I'll start walking more places.

The first time I played I came across about five over the course of 16 levels or so. I restarted with a new character and only came across one for the first 10 hours. Finally a second one was waiting for me at Whiterun. I think they got tired of waiting to eat me.

LINKI've killed 6 so far. Any use to these bones quiet yet?
Nevermind. I just found that you can make armor with a lot of damn bones and a smithing of 100

This LINK from Unrealitymag: The Problems with Skyrim's Menus explains one of my biggest irritations with the game.
Seriously...these need to be better.

I just got my smithing up to 100. Bones for plate armor and scales for scale armor.

I'm reading that Daedra might be better. I'm a warrior so light weight heavy armor is ideal for me.

It seems every since level 15 the dragons jump me all the time.
SPOILER
You need to kill about 72 dragons to max all the shouts in the game.

Mother of god. I need to catch up on my dragon slaying
Posted on 11/15/11 at 5:34 pm to jmarto1
and what's the best place people have come across to get some loot to disenchant?

Dungeon crawling.
Gives the whole one shot arrow to the face a more intense feel.
