Any one know of the best place to sell weapons and armor? All of the blacksmiths/general goods stores I have come across refuse to even pay me 50% of the value of my stuff.

They REALLY need to fix the key rebind shite! I rebind a key and it only works for half the skills. I rebind "Activate" and it works for some stuff but not to pick up books. Only when I rebind it to "E" does it work.

You guys weren't kidding about the amount of quests you get. I try to knock one out and add five more. I made the long trip to Riften and just loaded up on them.

A shrine is your best bet, Riften has one in the temple.

Where's a good place to sell things? I go to the merchants in Whiterun but they usually have less than 1k gold each (and there's only 2 or 3 of them to sell to).

Welcome to the poorer Oblivion. As stated before if you can buy to build up the gold then sell, rinse and repeat, otherwise fast travel to other places to sell. Like most I am VERY selective on what I will loot because of this.

Main reason why I keep a companion. It's just an extra backpack for me. I find Lydia is only useful in close quarters. Otherwise she can't keep up with me and only gets and arrow or two in the battle. Also, she only opens chests and not doors. Master lock chest? No problem. Novice door? Can't do that. count.
