The dragons were fricking ridiculous for me. Every time I'd visit the Riverwood Trader, I'd have one or even sometimes two blood dragons perching on rooftops (at mid levels). No shortage of souls for unlocking shouts, at least. I would always be carrying so many dragon bones and scales that I had to make a trip to Whiterun every 10 minutes to dump them in a chest.

open Steam by itself and right click Skyrim in your game library
click properties
click the local files tab
click verify integrity of game files
try to run skyrim
if that doesnt work, repeat and click backup game files instead of verify game files.

How many houses does everyone have?
I have the Solitude house, Windhelm, Morthal, whiterun, and Riften. All of those bitches are fully furnished, and I keep about 20k in my pocket. OT baller.

God Dammit Bethesda. I finally hit a game breaking bug...
Right at the end of my stormcloak revolution, the douchebag second in command (where you go to "report in") just starts attacking me. I have no idea why. The other guards just watch. No bounty is apparent. I can beat the shite out of him, and everyone just watches.
I'm too far in to switch sides. Can't get orders from the stormcloaks. And can't complete the main quest until the war is settled.

I'm pretty sure that after beating Alduin (initially) I have to capture a dragon at dragonsreach. And the Jarl there only allows that to happen if the war is settled.
That's according to UESP.

No, you just have to have the peace conference up in High Hrothgar. It doesn't end the war I don't believe. Talk to Taulius and Ulfric to convince them to go.
ETA: I don't know how joining a side affects things as my character is still neutral.

Having completed all the MQ and other major quests i am still wandering around becoming more deific.

I think I hit a bug that fricked up my werewolf totem quests. I have the first totem but I lost Aela in the runes,she may have even died not sure. Now I am stuck with this wolf totem.

You can't bring it to the under forge and put it on it's shrine like you did with the other totems?

It was the first totem so I didn't have anywhere to put it.
All worked out today though. Was selling off some daggers in whiterun and randomly Aela showed back up in the middle of it and started following me again.

well considering i have them carry everything im not using, they typically have great armor and weapons

I've started my second character as an assassin with the dark brotherhood and have. Been enjoying it thoroughly. Definitely more fun than going as the mage. Assassinating people is great.
To the companion comments. That's all I've used them for. However, with my second character, I end up leaving Lydia at home so she doesn't come on my assassination missions. I don't know why, but I feel she shouldn't know what all I do
