I think it can keep you from getting the Windhelm house if you progress through the civil war. I seem to recall reading that on here.

All houses are available to either side, I went stormcloacks and have them all.

There is one major change, if you pick the stormcloaks you no longer get to hear "Age of Aggression" any more

I finished the imperial side and I cannot obtain the Windhelm house. The assistant keeps telling me that something happened to the house, and the people that are supposed to start the quest do not.

You have to do a quest there to get the house, I don't remember the name of it. It involves the graveyard.

It's been a while, but I thought you just had to have 5,000 gold to get the house.

Yea it's a glitch, and a huge problem, which is why on my 2nd character I did the house clearing mission before I even thought about the civil war quest line

Is there a way to make more songs available? I can only hear raggar the red and age of aggression everywhere. Those are the only two songs in Skyrim?

bought another PS3 Saturday since i got the YLOD a week ago.
It came with Uncharted 3 so I played that for a few hours yesterday. I don't know if i have ever been so incredibly bored with a game before. I know it's a different genre, but I felt like i was playing National Treasure, but without Nick Cage.
Listen to dialogue, climb a bunch of walls/buildings, shoot a bad guy, climb more buildings. Cut scene again, run away from something, climb more buildings.
does it ever get better?
back to skyrim after work.

So if any of you guys have picked a side in the civil war quest why? since I am doing the Dark Brotherhood questline as well and will eventually apparently kill the emperor how will I still join an imperial legion with no emperor?

I went with the Stormcloaks but started regretting it. Got to the point where they want me to attack Solitude and I don't really want to so I have put that quest on hold (maybe permanently). Stormcloaks are bunch of racist f**ks and Ulfric is a tawdry POS.

No idea, I'd be surprised if there weren't more somehow, but I've never heard them.

I always have them play it
Completed Bards College Quest this weekend, the head of the Bard's College has the most god awful voice. Stunningly bad for a man in his position.

Is there any point to the songs? I got one guy to sing one by accident, thinking he was going to teach me a spell. Once I realized it was just a song, I left.

other than putting 25 gold in the Bard's pocket, none that I know of.
I can't remember receiving any skill points, etc from having them play and I have done it quite a bit
