What the frick do I do with all these books I've collected? Sell them? Give them to my companion? Wipe my virtual Nord arse with them?

I don't actually want to read them, I just want to read them to get experience like in Fallout.

Can anyone tell me how to get to pommel of mehrunes' razor? I've gone through the dungeon where the marker says it is and it keeps telling me to go out then when I'm out the markers says to go back in.

impact is a perk that makes your dual cast destro spells stagger opponents.. meaning you can pretty much chain cast and they'll never hurt you.

Incinerate is an expert level spell (basically just firebolt that hurts more)

impact is money. Bears, trolls, and dragons used to scare me.

Yeah.. Any beast/dragon/melee guy is cake now.

Archers and mages hurt on expert though.. and its a lot harder to hit them 50 yards away while moving than it is a bear charging right at me.

So yesterday I got my character from 10 to 22 and smithing from 25 to 86.. and I got that soul capturing mace and when I get back home after the holidays, I'm going to work on enchanting. Problem is I'm out of gold now, I used like 3k to get my smithing up But when I get back from the holidays, I'm gonna max out my smithing, make dragon armor, and work on my enchanting. I want to get a ton of petty soul gems and fill them up, and as I make a batch of daggers, enchant them before I sell them. Then I'll make that dragon armor and put some awesome enchants on it.

I finally have a goal and it's all because of you guys in this thread.

I combine Smithing and enchanting

I smith a bunch of shite at Warmaiden's and then slog up to Dragonreach and enchant most of it. Sell some to the mage there (jewelry) and then back down to Warmaiden's to sell the enchanted stuff inside. Go quest for a few days then return and do it again. I have gotten smithing and enchanting up to about 60 doing this.

That's the key.

I find the absolute best thing you can do is use all your iron ORE transmuting it into silver or gold ore (whichever you need depending on your gems in inventory) make jewelry out of it (raises smithing). Buy the ore from the girl and guy in whiterun (or others if you feel like traveling) Then fast travel to the keep, enchant them with +sneak (most money) or archery (if it's a circlet)- sell to mage vendors and general trinket guys.

Also you can buy iron ingots/leather/strips and make iron daggers, then sharpen them at the grinding stone, then enchant them with fear (I think best selling) and trudge back down to the blacksmiths and sell them (they have enough money usually with what you spent on mats + their normal 750)

And whala - you're making gold, raising enchanting, raising smithing, and raising speech.

PROFIT.

Yes I forgot to add that part

Also I found 2 Dwarven storehouses and carted all the Dwemer metals back to Whiterun

Made a shite ton of Dwarven bows and enchanted them with Fear for some good level ups

@dedfella

Where exactly were these dwarven storehouses? I am the point where I could start crafting dwarven items if I could find any of the damn higher level mats needed (I refuse to waste good coin on that shite when I know its out there for free).

Dwarven ingots require you to find dwarven metal, which is usually found in dwemer ruins. Just look at the smelting options for the ingots to find out what you need, I usually pull 4 solid metals which is 20 ingots.

you know those dwarven ruins? sometimes they have another entrance nearby on the same mountain slope etc.. with a door called a dwarven storehouse.. I've only found one though.. I think it was in the jungle area south of the orc village and north of riften..

Also what he said, you can smelt almost all of the dwarven crap into ingots.. just clear out a dwarven ruin dungeon.. then clear out your bags and make a run through grabbing it all. (it's heavy)

SPOILERS below

One is northeast of Kynesgrove. If you are facing the inn at Kynesgove then take the path leading right and north from there and follow it until you see a series of stone arches. Go up through them and it will be over to the right of the main path. i think it had expert lock on the front door and a couple of more expert locks inside.

The other is just ahead at Mzuft which is a location on the Mage College quest

Thanks all for the tips/info.

Just got to Riften and got membership into the Thieves Guild last night, so at least some of those locations are nearby. LOL hate to admit how pissed I am that Thanksgiving is taking me away from Skyrim till Sunday night at the earliest. Gonna have to find a way to get through my looming 4 day withdraw.
