Nah...trust me, this baby has the horsepower for it.
Hiccups are from bad code....this is in beta :P
If everything is working right, we could fit 100 people on here easily.
I think I *MIGHT* have fixed the problem.
The server was having a complex and needed a couple of sit down therapy sessions while we discussed repressed childhood fears.
And then I beat it on the head a couple of times with force restarts and software reintstalls.
I think the problem was that the plugins were all inoperative, even though from my admin side it said they all were.
So no XP orb cleaning was happening, causing the lag.
There were a couple of players who were in a heavy XP orb area, so when they logged in, they made the server load those zones, thus creating massive lag for everyone.
At least, that is the best explaination I can figure from what I know.
The log files are running a bit cleaner now....log in and tell me if it is still lagging bad.

You know, I noticed that i typed /removeorbs and they wouldn't disappear. I tested that on some orbs from mobs. I never put 2 and 2 together but it makes sense.

Hey vovl im in a server right now that about ever 5-10 minutes they have a thing that says "removing dropped items in 30 seconds" Then if you died or have shite laying on the ground and you dont pick it up its gone. Didnt know if this could help

That is something similar to what is in place now.
It scans the world and removes XP orbs every 30 seconds (better than expecting people to use commands).
Leery of taking away the chance of people to pick up their items though.

here is what we do
we get lots and lots and lots of cobble stone
burn it into realstone
then make that into stone brick and build the stadium out of that
then the new entrances can be made from sandstone

Sup yall, I'm relatively new to minecraft and obviously new to TD (I have been lurking though - usually some good info on games here) and would like to join up with yall.
