The highest rank for you achieve per season nets purple "comp" points for golden swag guns
My main interest is just climbing this year is to be in better position for placement matches next season (unless they change things). The higher ranks should in theory lead to more competitive games and less troll picks.

I'll help you finish your placement matches tonight if you want. You earn competitive points to spend on weapon skins (like my golden Tracer guns from last night) and it's just way more fun and competitive. You won't have a team with 4 dps, a Hanzo, and a Widow LOL

Btw for mystery heroes, you can still change characters in the base after it picks your mystery character. It worked for us a couple days ago, they might have patched it.

then proceeded to get put on 2 of the shittiest teams ive ever played on. like as soon as the character screen loads it's hanzo bastion soldier sombra reaper. we didnt move the car 1 inch on Dorado. They had a 4* SILVER and he kept saying thanks I message him and was like "bruh, you're a 4* and you got put in silver, kill yourself"
2-2, called it a night. frick solo queue
