It sucks, and I'm not sure yet if I'll get it. I do most of my online gaming on PC. In the end I'll probably end up caving since PS+ offers free games monthly.

Is it a big deal that the graphics were very underwhelming last night? I'm considering myself a pretty heavy PS4 lean, especially bc of the price, but those graphics really turned me off.
Games shown during Xbones presentation looked incredible. Most of that Watch Dogs cut scene looked like live action

Not sure...when I tried it out, I think it was $17 for three months. But the longer the term, the cheaper it gets. I want to say the year was $50, so yeah...$4.17/month.

I guess I have to add that the PS3 does that if you have PS Plus.
Now, I don't know about all the other stuff PS Plus gives, but I feel like the auto updates while I'm asleep are well worth the cost so I don't have to wait 10 minutes to play BF3 while it updates, etc.

The constant installs and updates every time I tried to play a game on PS3 always gave me a bad taste in my mouth.
PSN though was always the biggest turn off to the PS3 for me.

Yeah, I don't like waiting for that crap either. Hopefully they can increase their bandwidth to match MS speeds on updating. At this point, I am a PS4 lean but I am going to hold out until I see how both systems shake out.

I've had Playstation Plus for roughly 2 years.. Thanks to Playstation Plus, I had to upgrade my PS3 hard drive to a 1TB hard drive. I now own 72 PS3 games, and I have roughly 20 PS Vita games downloaded onto my PS3 hard drive to be installed on my Vita whenever I would like. It's easily the best $50 a year i've ever spent. Not only do we get monthly games for free, but we get discounted items, and things like that. It's absolutely worth it.
