I plan to get it next, I just finished triangle strategy and am going to go back to The Witcher 3 and finish blood and wine, then to Elden Ring!

Bloodborne will never be PS5 updated it blows but accept it and move it. The only explanation is there’s something technically in the game I don’t have the knowledge to understand making it impossible to move from a 30 FPS headlock without remaking the entire game

I played about 45 minutes and couldn’t do the 30FPS. I really wanted to play it too. Jumped over to Sekiro and man it’s pretty amazing. Need to fire it back up tonight.

It’s a great game. 30 FPS in difficult action games is brutal though you had to learn to be a bit slower than you feel

Play the bull just like every other boss. Aggressive as frick and hesitation is death. Chase him down and attack his back side, abuse firecrackers, if you get positioned badly you can deflect his attacks but you’ll build posture fast and chip damage if I remember. Basically just take the fight to him. A good way to kill beast bosses in the game when you’re new is bait out attacks you can vitality damage them on disregarding posture buildup then stack posture when it’s low. Same for both owl fights

If this is your first run of the game I’ll save you a lot of trouble. For most of them fight the beast like humans

It’s hard to compare Sekiro and Dark Souls difficulty since they’re completely different. Sekiro is much faster and Datk Souls is more methodical but each is punishing in that frame work. Most important thing to learn in Sekiro is to stand your ground. Second most important is to recognize your healing windows and what you need to in the interim. If you don’t do those two you’ll get destroyed. Doing a NG+10 with no charm and bell on. For most people I’d wager Sekiro will more difficult before Genichiro and easier than DS after. He’s your skill check the end game flows from. Apparently a lot of people struggle with both owl fights which I can kinda see in NG+ or a run without Kuros charm but on normal runs where your posture is more stable he is insanely easy to me with easy to read telegraphs and no hard to counter perilous moves.

I just beat it. I did the purification ending, beat all bosses except Isshin (saving him for new game).. My last two games beat are Lies of P and Sekiro. I’m feeling like a Gamer God

I’ve done a full 180 on my Fromsoft game play. My first game was Bloodborne which I started/stopped for a 2 yr period. I hated it until it clicked and learned dodge attack. Became a FS fanboy. Then having to learn parry / block absolutely sucked, not my play style. Till beating these last two games..

All that to say I am torn on picking up my Elden Ring play b/c of upcoming DLC. I’m about 1/2 way through w/ a very strong samurai bleed build but have not played in over a year (got bored). I think I want to NG Sekiro but part of me wants to finish ER. I can’t parry in ER so would have to go back to dodge.. Ugh..? Going back to just beat Sekiro mindset

Good for you! I’ve beaten every Souls boss, Nioh’s, Lies of P, Lord of Fallen, etc.

Sekiro infuriated me and made me rage quit. I think I got to Isshin Ashina

I bounced off Sekiro hard. It wasn’t the difficulty, as I tend to parry quite a bit in Souls games, but it just didn’t grab me. Going to try again at some point…

Give it another shot. It gets really interesting once you reach a certain point, and it's the most mechanically satisfying From game once everything clicks

Sekiro is so dang fun. It’s really a rhythm game. You can tap your feet to the beat of the swords clashing.

I just get so frustrated. It’s wild because I’ve beaten all the other Souls like games. I’ve still got it on my console though….One day

I HATE games with forced parry mechanics, which is mostly because I am probably in the Top 5 for worst parriers in the history of gaming. But I absolutely loved Sekiro and platinumed it. I was only able to do so using *cough* cheese strats *cough* on some bosses. It's a good thing that I have no shame when it comes to FromSoft games.

Anyway, if you're struggling with bosses, like I certainly did, I recommend the following YouTubers who have awesome guides for the bosses:

Fuzzy Bearbarian (who has now changed his name to Tremorism). This guy doesn't cheese bosses. He just explains movesets and strategies (he's light years better than Cowboy in that regard).

Tyrannicon. This dude straight up cheeses bosses, but his strategies work, and he has a mildly amusing schtick, so whatever

I'm sure there are plenty of other YouTubers with boss/cheese guides, but these two got me through multiple playthroughs of Sekiro.
