My PS4 has been sitting on the RDR2:SE "Buy Now" page for about 20 minutes.

It's $10 off this weekend.

Really the biggest thing holding me back is I only game 2 or 3 times a week and one impression I've had via watching on twitch is that you sometimes have to grind it out.

Game isn't grindy at all, unless you want it to be.

They had red dead for 30$ at the wal mart here in Conroe this weekend

So I just did one of the Strauss debt collection missions where the debtor takes you to hunt the white cougar as his payment. I take the pelt back to Strawberry to sell to the butcher to complete the mission and I turn a corner too sharp in town and trample a guy. Whole town freaks out of course, but nobody is shooting at me or anything. Just a lot of gasps and calling me names, etc. I get to the butcher and can't initiate the sell option. Then he just slowly walks away from his booth, walks behind me and puts me in a choke hold. So I figured OK fine, I'll leave and let this town calm their tits for a bit. I break out of the choke hold, grab my horse and hightail it out of there, going East until I was almost to the river. I go to set up a campfire and BOOM somebody blind sides me and tackles me. It's the fricking butcher. Must have chased me on foot the whole time, intent on killing me. So I had to kill him as it was apparent his bloodlust was unquenchable. I was pissed it was going to cause the mission to glitch or be incomplete. Waited a few days and went back and there was a new butcher, so it worked out in the end . Funny now looking back on it. That guy was a psycho
