re: Official Red Dead Redemption 2 Thread, Out NOW!!!

The bayou is filled with some weird stuff. Stopped to check out some dude that had been lynced, wondering if I could shoot him down or something. Out of nowhere these three zombie looking dudes come at me. I'm like ya, a challenge, pull my knife to get crazy and one of them one stab kills me. And my health wasn't low. It was a finishing move without a fight.

I'm locked and loaded and looking for revenge.

Just popping in to say I still love this game. The complete randomness of it has me wasting so much time on non-story stuff, it's unreal.

Still in Chapter 3. I have found both the cougar and the panther that I was looking for. Finding those are fricking hard because for you to get 100% in the compendium for them, you have to be on the ball and see them before they see you so you can study, track, and kill them with a headshot before they attack.

Now I just need a beaver and I should have the satchel of the king of the east or whatever it's called and I can start in on hunting for camp upgrades. I have never seen a beaver in this game, so I'm just trolling up and down rivers hoping for the best.

I literally have spent all of my play time in the last week just hunting things and soaking up exploring the environment. Dutch has to be getting pretty pissed that the only productive member of that godforsaken band of outlaws is out enjoying nature.

Does this game have a way to see how long you've played? Rockstar generally has that in some stats area.

No clue buddy. I caught it completely by accident. Usually I'm in first person anyway

When I do actually get to the camp, I get smart arse comments from Dutch and others about killing innocent people, and that I'm a really bad person.

I understand not being able to fight people in camp but i wish they included some way to passive aggressively deal with situations like that or smack them with the ledger or something.

Same here, one of the wenches accused me of this so I checked the ledger, I hadn't donated in a day and half in the game, the last time I did it was $300+ (not including the $100 or so of watches and shite), the donations after mine were shite like "1 sock" from Pearson, $0.12 from Bill, the best next thing I think was $2.00 from John and a "Good Pelt" from Josea.

GTFO with bitching at me, I wish I could bitchslap the women in camp for shite like that.

Went ahead and took up the horse race that the random guy offers you up north by the waterfall. Finished the race down at the dam and watched him smack his horse in the face for losing. Roped him off the back of his mount as he turned to leave, hogtied and looted him, then dumped him over the dam into the river below. Horse was better off anyways.

Had to clean up two witnesses who came riding by at the wrong time and joined the old man at the bottom of the river, but still worth it. This game is just endless random fun!
