Could you explain how to make the green arrow appear because I am unsure of how to do that.

He has ingress on his phone. Pokemon go thinks his house is a damn shopping center due to pings.
Most rural areas are barren due to very little cell phone usage. This is a fact
And I define rural, suburban, and urban like this:
Suburban: walk out on your front porch naked and get the cops called / arrested
Rural: walk out front naked and no one sees you
Urban: walk out your front door naked and everyone just ignores you

I wish neither of those things existed. I definitely won't use Ingress and at this point don't want to use the green pulse. Starting off in one direction and having to retrace my steps when it falls off my radar is more exciting and makes finding it even more sweet than being told basically exactly where it is.

The green rustling leaves are the same thing...those are ingress XM clusters..just reskinned as a potential pokemon spawn
But the green pulse is easily ignorable and you can still track . It looks a lot like the gray pulse which is your 'nearbye' refresh

Yeah I don't think I would have ever caught that on my own.
How many evolutions can one do in 30 minutes? I think I've read you or someone else say 30, but if I sit there and do nothing but evolve and have everything lined up beforehand, do you think I could do more than 30?

If you had no server issues, and everything lined up, and did nothing but hit evolve and watch the animation... Probably at least 3 a minute.
But youd want to close and reopen the app to make sure you get your level up bonuses.

I ignore most uncommons/rares and just catch commons for the lucky egg/evolve bonus. I do enjoy farming XP in any game though, the fun will come later. Then again I haven't put much time into the game, Monday was probably my true first day playing Pokemon GO.
Edt: Also 19 isn't very high. I see a bunch of 21-22 lvl players topping our gyms in the little town of Thibodaux.

Oh shite sons. I might have 5 gyms under control in Lviv before the end of the night. The highest level I see in any gym is 567 and I have 8 pokemon stronger than that. I'll wait until my timer resets until I attempt though. Only was able to get 20 coins in Krakow

Maybe someone already mentioned this but I just realized it's the freakin' razzberries that cause your ball to curve for no reason. Can't believe I didn't realize it sooner. I wasted so many pokeballs.
