The level cap ties directly to your character level. I maxed a pidgey out and after I grew a few levels the meter for my Pokemon went down. I was then able to level him back up.

I fricking did it! Gotta run to work, but I'll post what type of beast this bad boy evolves into later.

Downtown NOLA is being good to me! I was at 0 Pokeballs yesterday evening....got up to 77 on my walk to the office. There are 3 Pokestops that I can access near my desk...and one has a lure attached to it. I've gotten a few Goldeens, a Meowth and 2 Pinsirs this morning just sitting here.

Jealous of people who have a pokestop next to their offices. Can get so many pokeballs. Not fair for the rest of us whose offices are in the middle of nowhere.

I don't have anything in my subdivision either. I'm going to have to get all my catching done in the evenings. Might go around city park for a run later and see what's going on over there.

for anyone in s BR curious as to where to eat lunch this week,

the chimes east, Londoner, Albasha, Bull Chicks, South of Philly are all either Gyms or Pokestops

Started my day off right...by missing out on a venusaur.
