Make sure to hit up the one at Rathborne park all the way down Lakewood Drive

Sweet. I was wondering if there was one there. I jog and bike in the area frequently but haven't been back there while playing the game. I always hit up the Mormon church on the way out the neighborhood.

I put in work this weekend. Feet are sore but it feels good. Here are my favorites so far (basically the ones that I feel are the rarest in my neck of the woods except Jolteon, there are a lot of Eevees around me.):

So is there any rhyme or reason to what eeveelution you get right now? I was told if it knew Body Slam it was going to be a Jolteon but I got Vaporeon.

Is there a reason for one or the other?

You guys actually walking around? I played at stoplights and had a very productive trip to Sonic happy hour.

Nothing wrong per se with primarily driving around, but I've done 99% of my hunting on foot and I love the experience. Like with everything in life, it's not the endgame that matters most (getting the pokemon and leveling up), it's the experience getting there. Walking around gives it much more of an adventure feel. You get to converse with other players, explore areas you wouldn't otherwise, and sometimes have to really work to find those pokemon that start off on the edge of your radar. The urgency I get when I see a pokemon pop up on my radar that I haven't caught yet and the thrill of honing in on it is unlike any game I've ever played. I honestly feel like the world is inhabited by Pokemon, it's nuts.

I recommend finding somewhere with good walking paths, nice surroundings, and lots of pokestops. I live right by a college campus near to churhces, businesses, creeks, and trails with pokestops throughout. Makes for an awesome Pokemon playground.

Anyone else NOT know about this until now?

MAKE THE MOST OF THE BATTERY SAVER
Pokemon Go includes an option in the settings to initiate a Battery Saver mode, but it doesn't really explain what that does - in fact, simply turning it on won't do much of anything.

To make use of Battery Saver, once turned on, simply turn your phone upside down, and the screen will darken to display a faint Pokemon Go logo. The game will still be on, and will still track your movements - you just won't see it. However, you will still get a notification or rumble if you approach a Pokestop or a Pokemon appears, so you can quickly pull the phone out of your pocket to interact!

I wouldn't bother wasting stardust on a poke with a garbage moveset or one that is XS.

If you evolve a CP10 Pokemon and evolve a CP 200, the CP200 one will be much higher. Then you can feed it candy until you max it out. It will be much stronger that way.

Why's XS bad? Half of my good Pokemon are XS
