You don't have to tap the items. Just spin and exit. The items will be added to your inventory.

Gyms and Pokestops are different. In game and so it should apply here. We do need more Pokestops though.

Agree but this probably wasn't done to prevent farming. You can just engage and leave a battle. What they should do is put the battle xp if failed on a timer.

Again probably spam prevention for farming. Swipe is hard to set up compared to macros for a "tap".

I do also believe the items are autonatically added to ur inventory without taping/claiming them? If not they do need to fix that.

When they fix the tracker it'll be more about the hunt and collecting than just gyms.

Does anyone know if it matters what level you are when you hatch an egg? For instance, I'm at level 18, and have 9.4/10K completed for one egg. If it hatches before I reach the next level, will it be weaker no matter what Pokemon it is?

I would assume eventually. Silver and Gold probably have the best Pokemon.

Which kind of sucks. I was making a pokeball run and not tapping on revives and berries on purpose because my inventory was near full. I didn't notice until I got home that I was picking them up anyway.
