Haven't got a chance to try it yet. I too threw my money at it, but Persona 5 is also very engaging. So many great games in such a short span of time.

So I just got trolled into deleting my save file 
I thought it was a joke or something. Turns out it wasn't and I just watched the pods delete everything...

I played Nier (the original) and the last play through resulted in a deletion of everything. I knew they were serious.

Just bought a ps4 pro, this game is next after I finish horizon. Don't want HZD to end, but can't wait to start nier.

I am 6 hours in, in the desert and I’m not hooked yet....story has not grabbed me at all. I will keep pushing, but man, I typically have the same taste as Carson but not here so far.

Played this back in May and was in the same boat as you. I did not get hooked until the end of route A. Don't want to spoil anything, but it prob took me around 10 hours to get there. Iirc I ended up spending 50ish hours on the game after doing a lot of exploration, but keep on going and I think you will get way more invested into the game.

Thank you for the rec. I will keep pushing. I do like the gameplay. Story has not grabbed me yet. Hopefully that changes.
