Kog saw play and bans in korea and China before the 6.3 W buffs, even when he 'was bad' like most of the West thought.

Right, those guys have a completely different meta and play style.
Kog was never meta in NA or EU prior to the buff in 6.3, and we won't see him anymore come 6.4 time either with the way they are struggling to balance him right now on the pbe. And even in his broken state, Kog is 2-3 in 5 games played this split.
Mobility is the biggest key right now for adc's. That's why Lucian and Ezreal are the most played, along with Corki and Kalista.

Lucian is the most picked because hes the strongest AD that isnt banned almost ever. Kog has been banned 20 games. You cant even count Corki because hes picked more mid lane than hes picked as AD. Theres 4 or so bot lane picks. Lucian, Kalista, Ezreal, Kogmaw. Kalista and Kogmaw draw a good number of bans. Take those two out and your left with Lucian and Ezreal. Who are picked because they are only two adcs with a ton of strength left

Disagree, all about mobility. That's why those two are the top picks. I watch too many high elo streams and they all say the same about adc meta and mobility being the main key.
That was the knock on Kog despite being broken, no mobility. They went pretty in depth over it during one of the Kog match breakdowns too.

Lucian and ezreal see more play over caitlyn and other AA adcs due to the itemization changes. They are stronger, quicker. Specifically, IBG and essence reaver are really good
The mobility is nice, yes..but mobility deficienies can be masked by solo lane lulu, alistar, janna on a pro team. And coordinated vision
Speaking strictly competitive play.
I will agree that picking a non mobile adc into an enemy alistar and not getting your desired laneswap is suicide.

Adcs honestly have very few options of getting away from stuff in this meta. Its getting quite dumb. Bard ult causing people to burn flash and you literally stand no shot once you dont have flash against all the meta mids/tops even the jungles. All depends on your team to keep you safe and you to stay around them

Right, this is what I'm talking about. Competitive play is all about the mobility adc meta. Ezreal, and Lucian being the two with Corki and Kalista there too. The quickness and the dashes/shifts are an absolute must because the meta supports are Alistar and Bard above all else. The dash and arcane shift are life saving must haves against either of those comps for obvious reasons.
It's why you don't see really any of the top damage dealing adc's that don't have mobility, Jinx, Twitch, Jhin, Graves, Quinn, Varus, Miss Fortune. Those are all top 10 in damage dealt but you never see them in LCS play at adc because of the lack of mobility and quickness against the meta support picks of Alistar/Bard.
If your kit has nothing to help your movements in/around teamfights, you aren't getting played right now.

Some combo of Nidalee, Lee sin, gragas, alistar, bard, leblanc, malphite, poppy, fiora, nautilus, trundle pillars in literally every game

Another thing that sucks for adcs is that almost all solo lanes and junglers have some hybrid tank/damage builds due to:
Steraks
Maw
Rod of ages
Black cleaver
Zhonyas
Titanic hydra
Dead man's plate
Grasp of the undying/ str of ages
Overloaded kits/base damages
Everyone is tanky and doing fricktons of damage w/ CC and solo lane experience.
If you are an underleveled ad with no mobility and in between 1 or 2 items you are basically Gromp

The fact that you can build full tank and still do tons of damage is absolutely awful and retarded.
Tank akali has been a thing in high elo here lately, full tank every item, and you just melt people still.

Yeah but you begin to see just how extremely retarded it is when it's non tank champs like frickin' Akali.
I watched Geranimo the other day face a full 6 item tank build Akali, she carried the game with 18 kills and did the most damage on the game. Retarded as it gets.

Sure seems like I called that C9 would struggle without Hai and you disagreed and then they got Hai back and went on a gauntlet through NA playoffs and this year have lost every game without Hai. But remember Hai was the problem according to you
