ATT users won't notice a ping drop for a few weeks. Rito is installing some hardware currently with ATT. A deal was finally reached.
I have ATT. My ping dropped from 98 to 95.. crews went to 60s. We live in the same city.

I have AT&T and I went from 135 to 58-59. So i guess its alright for some people.
And yeah for me there's a considerable difference because its basically been cut in half

Your ping should be damn near cut in half, what they're installing with AT&T is the under the hood packet improvements they've doing since March with all the other ISP's aka creating own network as they said.
It's completely separate from the server move.
Have you tried a game now that it's completely done? You may have just been one of the last few games still on the Portland servers.

I only tested it weeks ago using the cmd prompt ping from windows.
Not an actual game.
I read today that they are still installing ATT hardware.
I'm glad everyone is getting low pings though
my day will come.
Eta: idk why my ping wasn't lower with move from Portland to Chicago either . Will be interesting to see if it's actually the case in game

When I tested in windows I still had 60 ping. In game I'm stable at 35.
I can't believe we were playing with this kind of disadvantage all these years. Last hitting is completely different. You can cancel animations I never thought you could.This is amazing.

They are, for their own network that started back in March, along with Verizon, and Cox.
That however, is separate from the server move.
My ISP still isn't even listed for the network enhancements at all :(

MonteCristo's VOD of the TSM vs CLG Summer finals games are up. I checked reddit to find it. It was very interesting.
Tldr. TSM had no wave clear and let CLG play the objective game. TSM has serious communication flaws. Xmithi was 50/50 amazing/retarded. CLG tried to throw the mid game due to abandoning vision control, but pobelter or aphro saved them with damage/baits/engages. TSM played team fights really poorly late game.
Both didn't fully understand how to play their team comps correctly. Passed on opportunities to disengage fights and pressure the map.
Both were somewhat sloppy and mc thinks that they need to improve to win games off of Korea/China.

My ping did randomly drop from 120 to 99 about a month ago.
My game is more based in vision and objective control on easy champs anyways and not mechanical out plays so I'm not that worried about it.
Prepare for an onslaught of Yasuo and zed and riven in soloq tonight.
I do play anivia and velkoz and xerath so low ping will obv help them.

In the doublelift penta kill.. xsmithe actually gragas ulted people into/closer to jinx. Coulda been a disaster but obv it wasnt.
His ekko in game3 was opressive

Monte talked about the gragas ult on the penta. He thought it was really good.
The casters thought it was dangerous, but aphro still had ult and 2lift had Zekes on him. So aphro funneled champs to jinx one at a time. Xmithi was getting his ult/damage off before he died. There was no retreating once Zion, xmithi, and pobelter died. Yasuo would have just run them down.
