I'm done with LoL for a while. We're up 31 to 12 in kills. Every turret and inhib is down and they only have one nexus turret left. Tristana and Fiora start "fricking around" by purposefully overextending and getting caught over and over. Team never groups to finish. We get TWO barons, but don't win team fights because the team is never together. We lose 4 team fights in a row due in part to them catching up, them having a better team comp, and our tristana sucking arse (She built fricking warmogs). Long story short, they keep telling me to stop worrying and "we've got this", then they throw.
I've had horrible luck with teammates in soloq the last week or so. I've fallen from 68 points in Silver 4 to 4 points in Silver 5. My lolking score has dropped from 1268 to 1153. I made the mistake of trusting my team to play well so I didn't fight for mid or jungle every time. Started supporting more often. So now I'm playing with fricking bronze players. fricking. Done.

I played with a Diamond 1 smurf last week and he made a pretty good point.
He pretty much told me if I can't single handily carry a team to victory, I shouldn't be mad at where I am in ranked.
Which is why I'm learning how to ADC, because I'm tired of losing when I'm the best player in the game.

ADC is the wrong role to carry yourself. Learn tanky hard initiate jungles.

I feel like that logic of "be so good you carry your games solo" is broken. Sure, if you play at a plat level all of the time, maybe that works. But you wouldn't get placed in bronze in the first place. Nor silver, for that matter. If you're better than your teammates but not way, way better, you're not going to single-handedly carry your team.
I play jungle jarvan a lot. And well, I can initiate all I want and be tanky as frick, but in soloQ my team never counter wards and makes it really hard to gank and being really tanky makes it tough to actually get kills and get fed...especially so if I can't get any good ganks because my team is pushing its lanes or the enemy team has everything warded and there's no counterwarding. I can have really great initiates all I want, but if my team isn't focusing targets or focusing the wrong targets, it doesn't make a lick of difference. It's a team game and unless you're head and shoulders above the competition, you're not solo carrying.
