It's really fun to see Flyquest succeed after being middle tier for so long. They're like the little engine that could. Hope Flyquest/TSM is a banger.

Yeah FLY is a fun team, always loved POE when he was rotting away on 2 bad teams but always played super well.

TSM has to beat TL to play FLY though. Double elim TL was in winners bracket.

Either Broxah has champ pool issues or the coaching staff is griefing him, but playing volibear R4 there is actually unplayable with that draft. I do not understand it

Truth. Jatt has to get a lot of the blame for this series, trying so many first time comps and champs in the first couple games and running them like total shite. I can only guess it was due to double elim and they thought they could run them/practiced them a lot, which is scary for international play.

Already completely salty.
Clearly I was out of line for saying a 3 level difference and a flame horizon is getting gapped.

He sucks dude. He's sucked all year. He's on a winning team because core/tactical/Jensen have been carrying him.

It's not even specifically a flame at Broxah so the insecurity is hilarious. Santorin has been the best jungler in playoffs and it's really not close.

Gotcha, this new playoff format had me confused.

I also haven't been impressed with Broxah since he got to NA which is a shame because he seems like such a nice wholesome dude. It is hilarious though when NA soloq starts to break him every once in a while on his stream

Brox has seemed middle of the road, but I think part of that is TLs playstyle. Pretty sure he was playing carry stuff in EU, not cc tanks like Voli.

I could be wrong though.

TL also never deviates from the 2 tank top/jg. If they fall behind too much they have no damage to catch up.

Take nothing away, Fly smashed that last game.

TL TSM should be interesting.

Soft rumor that C9 and LCK 4th team could replace the 2 Vietnamese teams that can't go due to covid restrictions.

Looks like that's not happening.

In other news, IMT dropped...pretty much everybody.

Eika, Soaz, Altec, Gate, and Coach Adrien. All gone. Is Soaz finally done?

I think I linked a picture of Cloud 9 Twitter saying they all resigned but im on a hotspot because ive got no power or internet. Feels like a surprising move considering they still had a few months to feel out any moves. I wouldnt be surprised if we maybe see Palafox and Nisqy split some time next split

Nisqy will continue to be the anchor on that team.

That's my feeling on it too. That's a pretty quick decision.

This. Unless a lot of the C9A squad gets picked up. Everyone hypes that academy roster up a lot.

Dumb, but Palafox is a stud. Still leaves them with no jungle sub though.

Dumb that they resigned them all or dumb that they might split time?

Resigned them all. Splitting time is C9's thing, lot of success with it. They really needed it this year too.

I dont get it. I understand that you had a generally successful year but you didnt make worlds for the first time in org history and you immediately resign the entire team

Not to even mention they were maybe the worst team in NA the last month and a half, all that time and never really got it together again.

Very puzzling.

Maybe they all came to the agreement that they know they are a good team from spring split, they are going to just focus on getting back to that form with the extra time while worlds is going on.. find their synergy again. That's my guess.

I personally think Blaber is too meta dependent and Nisqy relies too much on jungle synergy. Blaber is the engine that drives that team. If he can play at a high level, the team will thrive. Pretty concerning to me.

Thinking about it now, I'm not sure I've seen a level of dominance just disappear like C9s in any type of competition. From "The best ever" to missing worlds in one split.

Yeah, Blaber is a wildcard. But at the same time this was his first season as a starter, should have plenty of room to grow still. He's young.

They aren't going to have anybody to play against.
