I haven't watched the LCS in almost 5 years, but I tuned in for a bit today.

I was surprised by how many names I recognized. It seems like they would rotate out every two years or so.

TL stomps 100T, 2-0 weekend with a single death total.

CLG beats TSM, 0-2 week for TSM both blowouts.

Big yikes for TSM.

I've yet to see a J4 do well this split.

TSM looks totally lost honestly. At least a few weeks ago their early game was the best in the league and seemed like they just needed to work on mid game pushing advantages.

BB getting jungle prio and losing lane anyway.
DD letting herald expire basically when they traded first dragon to get it.
Bjerg roaming all game not converting to kills while letting viktor free farm.
Bjerg missing 90% of his shots.
DD level 13 when viktor was 18.
Kobbe/bio disappear after kobbe TP top
Clumping vs rumble ult.

That after losing to TL with no double, academy adc... rough week.

Yea apart from C9 the LCS looks pretty bad this split. Hopefully Liquid is finally getting back to their old selves.

The 2-0/0-2 streak continues.

I will say this, their draft the last few games have just been weird as hell.. but all five of them played pretty bad this weekend.

I'm a big Bjergsen fan, I like him a lot... but his Zoe was pretty bad yesterday and wasn't fun to watch.

This is inexcusable TBH. There were multiple opportunities to drop it but didn't. Kind of how their whole weekend went.

I give them a pass against TL just because TLs roster is pretty good even without DL. Losing to 1-9 CLG isn't acceptable for a team that wants to make a playoff run. They should be embarrassed for that game.

Maybe this week will be the wakeup call they needed. They have some tough games coming up and are in danger of missing playoffs.

Omg it's finally happened, they are acknowledging the client sucks balls and are fixing it.

INTRODUCING THE CLIENT CLEANUP CAMPAIGN

This is a historic day.

their client is so bad.

leveling up a new account, and had to task manager close every time I was rewarded a new champ via missions in the first 10 levels.

pathetic.

His champion pool is nowhere near as big as he thinks it is.

TSM's coaching staff is basically the same as last year. They were trash then, they're still trash now.

Still not sure why Riot separates elo's when it comes to different game modes.

No reason I should queue up in a normal to practice a champ that's new to me, and I have to face a plat Yi main that just shite stomps the entire team and talks shite the entire time.

If you're a certain rank, you're that rank, period.

One of their main priorities is boot up time?

At no point did I ever feel this was an issue.

I agree with you.

He has shown some versatility, but the last two picks - Kayle and Morde - were abysmal and really didn't have an impact on either game.

I liked what they were doing a few weeks ago with drafts, but this last week was a head scratcher.

The inconsistency is a big indication of coaching to me. The team is so up and down it's nuts.

You still can have playmakers and elite talent.
But at that level, with the relatively experienced rosters, draft, strategy, and coaching is a bigger factor.
Great teams have been getting stomped by being out drafted, making dumb, risky plays early in the game, or not playing to the right win conditions.

Part of me thinks the reason behind c9’s continued success is their coaching staff.
Winning games in worlds with talent gaps. Always seemingly good at drafting and reading the meta. All of this with roster turnover. Gotta be coaching.

Its always been coaching with C9. They seemingly have swapped out their entire roster by this point and still manage to be top 3 basically every single split. Its really frustrating that TSM isnt getting the big picture. How many times does C9 have to change out players and finish top 3 and go on to have the most success in worlds for an NA team before TSM realizes "Hey maybe coaching is important" I mean I get the love for Lustboy but hes not even a fan favorite anymore. TSM defaulting to Peter was just the wrong choice. Go sign Yamato and quit thinking Coaching isnt an important part.

Originally this year we actually had planned and were actively searching for an LCS head coach. We tried a bunch of candidates, but unfortunately, in the end we didn't find the right person.

I have a stupid feeling that they will beat C9 this week just to continue the meme streak they have going.

Probably just a stupid feeling though.

Thought this place would be poppin' with Doublelift getting benched for the foreseeable future due to lack of motivation for spring split.

I bet it's not for long. I have a hard time believing he's not better than Tactical once he gets over his sickness.

I did think it was kind of weird when DL made the comments about spring not being important and Steve saying that DL didn't speak for the team back when they weren't playing well. It seems kind of familiar to when he took a break on TSM years ago.

I'm not sure how DL (or most of these players who have been in LCS forever) aren't burnt out on not only the game, but the grueling pro regimen they follow during splits.
