They have looked much better this weekend.
They did.
In the interview with Altec right after the game, he straight up said they knew TSM has an extremely weak late game and are slow to decide what they want to do.
That scoouting report is nothing new. TSM has frequently and often had that issue as of late.
TSM not performing well in best of ones and having a very weak late game in a meta where are consistently VERY long, doesn't bode well for them.

Doesn't bode well? Worlds is 9 months away man. Settle down

At 50 minutes they were outscaled and it became extremely hard to win
While true, the downhill trend in that game started for them when Hauntzer needlessly face checked the brush right outside the Echo Fox gate on bot side, and got killed. He got caught a few times like that.
Bjerg also kept getting kicked out of fights early.
I dunno, I understand teams improve as the season goes on, it's just frustrating being a fan of TSM and having to hear the same old song and dance every split about comms and needing to build synergy.

Every time they show Huni's cam I crack up because with his hair and his glasses he looks like a 40 year old dude in a library.

It doesn't bode well for them this early season. What about that is untrue?

Didn't say anything about worlds

If Echo Fox keeps their mental that's a strong top 4 maybe even higher team. Very impressive 4-0 start.

C9 is first American team to win a CS:GO major!

First blood and another kill for C9! We'll see how 100T is from behind for the first time.

C9 takes down 100T, EF the only undefeated team left.

CLG avoids total disaster and the 0-4 with a comeback struggle of a win over Golden Guardians.

Can someone tell me why in the living frick Yasuo wind wall can block/interrupt gankplank barrels?
GP is literally useless in a team fight if there is yas there.

I just went back and watched the replay.
I think I may be wrong. Looks like I underestimated how strong his passive/shield is.

The mark of a really good team is being able to come from behind. I've been waiting to see what EF does when they lose the early/mid game fairly badly. Some of the comeback has to do with TSM throwing and not knowing what to do, but a lot of it has to do with EF being good. Hauntzer, Bjerg, and Zven/Mithy are not chumps.
Also, BO1 would have made a huge difference to TSM last split. They often lost the first game. Hell, SKT usually loses the first game too.

I was thinking this as well. I really think that this TSM team would have a better record if it was BO3, especially right now. It's also more games to get used to each other in a competitive environment.
There is still some harsh words for TSM out there right now, but man I actually feel much better about where this team is heading after this weekend. That really isn't that bad of a loss if EF keeps this up.
Bjerg is bothering me though... I wonder if he's getting any more comfortable in this meta. He hasn't looked the same as last year at all. He took full ownership of losing on Twitter. I hope he finds it soon.

I had the thought but I don't remember if I posted it here or not, but the split TSM went 17-1 in bo3, they would have barely had a .500 record if it had been bo1. Kinda crazy.

Wow. That’s a pretty crazy stat. Didn’t know that.

I knew it. Lol
Not to that degree. I'm thankful that drew put some legit stats into it.
I may be wrong. But their drafts were always terrible. Like they had to wait and see what the other team was going to do then make adjustments. Similar to the patriots lately. Come out, get smashed, make adjustments at halftime, and make a comeback.
Patriots would have been worse off lately if the games ended at halftime.
Tsm would look much better if they were playing bo3.
