Ok so I got shot down by another user while I was in a helicopter running from the cops. I assume he did it in a fighter jet so I went to steal one. I got away from the base but then it was like I ran out of gas all of the sudden and crashed. Can you not fly these jets around after you steal them?

only time i have had a plane fail on me is if I went too high, or too far out the boundaries of the map. if you do that, the engine dies

That's a possibility. I don't remember being that high but that might be what happened.

great... so I played online for about a half hour and then got kicked in the middle of a survivor mission.
tried to get back on and now it is saying it can't load my player because their cloud servers are down. what the frick man i swear I just spent 217k on apartment. if i lose my character and the apartment i will be so pissed

Uh the fighter jet's engines will die it you "brake" it too much and it will fall like a damn stone. Learned that from experience.
