Is there any point in going through all the character heritage stuff? Finished the single player story last night and then dabbled in the online mode but was too tired.
It will become my primary focus this weekend though and hopefully will be on all night tonight

I tried to get on at 6:45 this morning (figured no one would be on and it would work). It didn't work. Anyone in North LA want to make minimum wage trying to log in for me? I don't have time for this shite.

Not in my opinion. I just made my guy white and then went and bought a hockey mask so it doesn't really matter

I know this is so three days ago, but finally got around to it last night -- created character -- watched intro -- got in car for first race -- LOADING... Tried to reset and same thing happened a few different times...

Thought about GTA online all day at work yesterday, finally get home, Xbox Live wouldn't connect. I try it for about a 1/2 hr before I start raging. I leaped from the couch and picked up my 360 and shook it like a crying baby, then just kinda dropped it. Of course, GTA gets scratched. FML. Google how to fix it. Interwebz say toothpaste. I lol. I decide I'm desperate enough to try it. Internet says use plain tootpaste only, naturally I only have the gel kind. I drive to the gas station and buy plain toothpaste. I get home, pull the disk out of the Xbox and rub fricking toothpaste all over the back of this disc. I mean really scrubbed it with a t-shirt. I let it sit so it will absorb in there because for some reason that's supposed to be a good thing. After it sits, I run it under water to rinse off the excess toothpaste. I flip the disc over and it's frickING SKYRIM!! I had replaced GTA with Skyrim before I left for the gas station to make sure it was the game and not the system. FML.
At this point I probably ruined 2 games already so I say frick it and go to Wal Mart. Out of GTA. Drive all the way across town to Best Buy. They had 3 or 4 copies on the shelf. I get home an hour later and after one failed attempt, I finally get online after trying since Tues. It was already kind of late when I finished the tutorial but once I did, it was the most glorious hour and 1/2 I have ever experienced on a MP online game.
At this point I probably ruined 2 games already so I say frick it and go to Wal Mart. Out of GTA. Drive all the way across town to Best Buy. They had 3 or 4 copies on the shelf. I'm pretty tired of playing GTA online already. been playing about 5 hours a night, every night since the 1st. Im kind of over it.

I believe this is brannen after he tried to yoke up multiple cars with the Helo
So me and DownSouth are trying to find a way into Fort Z, I took a car and rammed the gate. bad call. instant 4 star. so we run and I drop South off so we can split the cops. he bails off into the water. cops no care.

had a blast playing with Achilles, CornDog, Brennan, Smoke, and Champion's friends last night.
- 14 muscle car race down a straight shot. 15 seconds in there's an enormous pile up the next thing i know i'm flying thru the air, flipping over a bridge, and plummeting to the bottom.
- that 8 lap motorbike race at the Penatentry was intense. was all about drafting since we all were blazing around the track.
- i got kicked from the server for a few minutes, because apparently random players don't like it when you are balling out with an F16, screaming thru downtown Los Santos with 5 stars....while they are busy robbing convenience stores.
- Those LTS missions with the dynamite random BigNub were epic. Dude went out with a bang shooting the girder instead of the enemy.
- Then the TDM at the construction site I went 0-5 first round, then 8-0 the 2nd to help us pull a turn around.
- Those intense stamina less bike rices down Mt Chilead against CornDog's "tri-athlete". don't know how I pulled that win off.
- The dirty cop missions was a beast with 12 people too. Enormous pile up of cops, enemies, and friendlies in the Hollywood Studios area. You couldn't get anywhere near that evidence without dying.

Is your SP game set to auto? If you join a different type of aim online it will also change your SP one and you'll need to go back and change it.
