I'm trying. I just got the game this weekend. And I'll be pulling an all nighter and be playing when multi-player launches in the morning.

exactly what I was thinking trying to play earlier. "what the frick do I do now?" so I just went around trying to steal the F16. tons of failures
then would scare people on the interstate. they get out of their cars and run into oncoming traffic. hilarity.

Using franklin is super easy to steal a jet. Buy a hangar, use your special as you run through the gate, grab jet, and haul arse

i have a method with a 100% success rate. when you go through te gate, turn right and go down in that little tunnel. follow it all the way till you get to some big silver tanks. exit right there and go for the jet out in the middle. get in it, turn left, and drive as fast as you can. take off, but stay extremely low (almost touching ground. go off to the left and stay just above the water. fly away till wanted stars disappear, and park in the hangar. easy breezy

I run the north gate close to the ocean, the building right in front of you as you are driving in is a hangar with a jet in it. Get there as quick as I can and jump out of my car and like other people have mentioned as soon as I get out I turn on his special. Then I start throwing sticky bombs all over the entrance of the hangar until my special runs out. Stay close to the cockpit as you are doing this so as soon as your special runs out you can jump in the jet. Once in, just set off the sticky bombs to clear any riff-raff that showed up, and just floor it and pull up. You can get air borne pretty much right away in those things. Once I am air borne I normally try to climb as quickly as I can. I can lose the stars in high altitude and have less of risk of crashing.
