I really don't feel like going through every towns person and equipping shite on them. It'll take forever. I wish there was just a large settler list somewhere that you could remote equip on.

If I just leave some guns, ammo, and armor on the ground will they pick them up and equip them after some time passes?

I doubt they'd pick it up. I don't go out of my way to give them things. If I roll up one he will get some gear. If I don't, I scrap or sell. Picking up armor isn't my priority. That shite weighs you down quick.

Now that I've got about 14000 caps I'm much less worried about picking up every piece of junk.

If you are trying to move a settler from one settlement to another but can't, this can be fixed through your Charisma. You are allowed 10 settlers for every one Workbench (not weapons or armor), plus one more for every point of Charisma you have. If you have one Workbench and seven Charasima, you can fit 17 settlers into your settlement, plus yourself for 18.

I didn't think I'd care for the settlement stuff at first.

But I actually really enjoy it.

Scrapping junk can be a pain, and assigning resources.

I need to slim down my weapon inventory, if only for crafting reasons. Last night was the second time that I crafted an item for the wrong gun. I'm upgrading my 10mm, but I have a second one in my bag, and I created a suppressor for the wrong one

Yeah I find myself carrying a lot of useless weapons. I don't play a ton, only lvl 9 but last night I was clearing the Hospital near the Cambridge Police Station and ran into a Legendary Deathclaw! Luckily I found a Missile Launcher and was able to light him up with that and my auto rifle. It took me about ten tries though. I found a fusion core and a sweet Muzzled 10mm pistol! Damage is 47 on it! And now I have a ton of RAD poisoning with no RADAway.

I think you can remove it and put it on another gun.

I thought I could as well, but when I went to the workbench, I didn't see that option RIGHT AWAY, so I just scrapped the whole thing and went looking for duct tape.

Get to diamond city and go to the doctor (any doctor you find will do)

He cures all your RADs for 40 caps.

You can't "remove" upgrades on weapons, what you have to do is replace that upgrade with something else usually pick the lowest item on the list for that slot and then it will be put in your inventory. It sucks that you have to use resources for the basic upgrade.

you can remove mods, mods have their own category in your inventory

Modify the 10mm with the suppressor. Add no muzzle (or for other parts, a less costly part) and the suppressor (or other mod part) will show up in your inventory and you can add it to the correct 10mm.

Hope that makes sense.

yea, you essentially have to "mod" it back to stock and it takes resources but it works.

Awesome will do! I have a ton of caps, and pre-war money. Is the money used for anything useful? I haven't made it to diamond city yet. Just doing some side stuff still.

Pre-way money can only be used as cloth from my experiences so far.

You can detach a weapon mod, and reattach it to a different gun.
