I had attempted to go get the cryonator last night and saw on the internet it was fixed but after looking on youtube4 I was able to get it by supplying dogmeat with a bobbypin.

Does anyone know if this game is finally playing well on the PS4?
What? I've had it since day 1 on ps4 and played almost daily. Not one crash or anything.

K. I had heard that it was having the most problems on that platform.

Worst case scenario dependent on something that may or not happen.

I finally started working on my settlements. It's funny seeing people in sanctuary walking around in full combat armor, carrying missile launchers, miniguns, sledge hammers etc
I can see how it's easy to get sucked into the building process.

The castle is the toughest to rebuilt because im so OCD
I get pissed off trying to get the shack foundations to line up perfectly with the wall.

Once I get my science up I am gonna put that mod in there, yeah.

Should I be upgrading armor and weapons? Currently I have all the settlements but haven't done much to them. I am wearing the big armor you get with Paladin Lanse in the big ship. I've just been doing Minutemen quests and BOS quests. Do I need to start building up defenses and armor and weapons?

Weapons, definitely. Armor, it depends. If you spend all your time in power armor, then it's not really necessary. But it's an easy perk to acquire, even for low strength players, and has a HUGE impact when you get the ballistic weave access later on. The perks you can put on regular armor are nice to. Quieter sneaking, more stable scope, less rads, etc... You'll need it at higher levels unless you want to live in power armor.

Your choice. It's not required. It's just another aspect of the game for those who enjoy it. I have 4 elaborate settlements, and have not touched the others, though they are open. I at least try to establish a supply line and build artillery at every settlement. Sanctuary, Starlight drive-in, Tenpines bluff, and the lighthouse are my main settlements.
I would suggest getting off the minutemen quests (so repetitive) and expanding to either the railroad or the main story for a while.
ETA: if you choose to build some settlements, the Local Leader perk under Charisma is absolutely necessary. Either way, pick at least one settlement and build all your work benches and power armor frame there. Use that place to store your junk, weapons, armor, etc...

Is he talking about settlement defenses?

Do building materials at one settlement transfer to the rest? Is there a way to do this if they don't? I have a shite ton of stuff at sanctuary and don't feel like hauling it around to the rest of them. I'm level 37 and have been collecting everything I've found from the very beginning, and have barely used any of it. needless to say I have a lot of materials.

Plays fine on my ps4. No crashes, just the typical Bethesda clunkieness

Local leader perk under charisma. You have to assign one person from your settlement to connect the supply line from one to the other.

I played through 3 and most of NV on my 360, so playing it on a console wouldn't be a problem if it came down to it.

All that shite is either for settlement building or weapon/armor mods. You need to get to work.

Also if you plan on getting into settlement building get the Scrapper perk. It gives you more when breaking down items.

I really hate when I accidentally take all from Sanctuary workshop benches.

I've modded my weapons and armor, but I still have a lot of stuff. I do need to get to work, I built a one story house in sanctuary last night, and some turrets for defense. The turrets really made my settlers happy. I got a wake up call last night. I went to defend Zuniga(spelling) which is a tiny settlement with really nothing, there were about a dozen settlers there, one stopped me and was like this place sucks can you help us? Is it possible to tear down all the houses at sanctuary or just the ones that have fallen in?
